  1. The cabert bookings can be just as dull or as lively as the bookers choose to make them. Dr Bridget McQueef appeared just a couple of years back.

    Lorde

Dunno if I'm really over Lorde dropping Supercut, Perfect Places and Green Light in quick succession. Maybe I never will be.
  3. But at least it was edgy
  4. Doing Glastonbury barefoot cos my shoes got twocked by the Special Brew Crew.
  5. The classic REM set or sets that everyone keeps banging on about.
  6. I'm not on here to try to communicate to famous people - only just to pass the time.
  7. Won't be able to avoid their early stuff either.
  8. Hate's a strong word, innit. I don't hate them, but I've got no issue roasting 'em now and again.
  9. They've got some decent songs, some good ones and some clunkers. But Fix You is bad. Like really bad. Worst of the decade bad.
  10. I saw them on the NME Brat Bus tour, taking the stage before Campag Velocet. Maybe one of these days I'll go and take them in again on El Pointo. I don't doubt the vibes and spectacle element of their live show is entertaining.
  11. Though I always thought that was an odd choice of song for Bowie to open his Glastonbury set with.
  12. Anybody heard anything about Lizzo's tour?
  13. It shows that his confession in the courtroom served its purpose and that Kim has forgiven him. That he's Jimmy again and that there's still a tiny (glowing) ember of love between them.
  14. I thought they nailed it. Perfect bittersweet ending and Odenkirk was fantastic.
  15. His voice was in decent shape. Better than it was 20 years back at any rate 😃
  16. True. It was shit. A terrible way to watch / experience a gig, jumping up and down like Zebedee. Evidence that it was meaningless? People would do it to Scooby Snacks.
  17. Gimme a documentary about the Gathering of the Juggalos.
  18. Well sorry if it rubs you the wrong way that Woodstock was the original peace and love festival. I guess Country Joe & The Fish aren't good enough to headline Glastonbury despite playing to 200,000 people on Yasgur's Farm.
  19. Been a rough summer for big 90s rock bands attempting to play the central belt - GNR, RHCP and RATM all cancelled at relatively short notice.
