  1. Got into waiting room fine for Wembley 21st June (AXS). Input email address on the way in. Countdown ticking.
  2. Oh for sure, I'm going to be logging on today to see the lay of the land! Will be gutting though if the opportunity would have arisen for me to get tickets today and I never see the same again 😅
  3. I'm not trying until tomorrow as neither London nor Edinburgh are good for me but food luck to all trying today. I've got an extra ounce of pressure on tomorrow as I've realised I have an appointment I can't reschedule at 3pm so I am down to the first two sales for Liverpool 😣
  4. My top 5 songs to hear that are not in the regular set would be: New Romantics This Is Me Trying Holy Ground This Love Would've, Could've, Should've Really had to think about whether Maroon beat any of those out but it just lost out.
  5. Got mine too 👍🏻 Really hope this works out because I received no email about the amended 14th waiting date for verified fan 🤷🏻‍♀️ which does not fill me with confidence that I'll be getting to try for Liverpool in the general sale. Everything hangs on next Tuesday 😬
  6. Mine dropped in at 18:38, long after others had been posting about them. Don't lose the faith yet!
  7. Yeah, just got it. So is my presale code going to be tagged to just one of the available dates or will I be able to use the same code at the different times to try for different dates?
  8. Okay so this email everyone is talking about re. the Midnights presale is just the same email I already got on the 20th. Unless people also got it then and are getting it again? Either way, I'm not going to panic unless I don't have a presale code by Friday morning 😬 Edit; okay scratch that. JUST got it through and been told my code will be with AXS so I need an account set up for that.
  9. So evidently I registered my fan interest with both my Hotmail (no email) and my Gmail (have received email re. 14th). Guess I'm now going to have to set up Ticketmaster/AEG account with that address 🤦🏻‍♀️ Despite having gotten the email on the 20th saying I will get a Midnight's presale code (to my Hotmail) I haven't had anything further about that yet. Holding out for the Thursday-Friday window.
  10. I haven't had the email about the 14th date, which is making me nervous. Holding our hope that I get the Midnight's presale (have had the email on the 20rh to say I should get that) code and get lucky in that sale because otherwise I have no chance.
  11. Thoroughly enjoying Rick Astley, I guess!
  12. This was my fifth Glastonbury and my best one yet. Everything about the festival was brilliant for me. I don't know if it felt so good because last year had been a bit weird - but there were so many delights. Not least: 1) Getting our whole gang together up above thr tipi field for the opening fireworks. I've never really gotten to be at that moment before, and it was a sign of just how well the rest of the festival was going to go off. 2) My phone signal was flawless! On iD (piggybacking on Three's network). My messages sent instantly, and picked up instantly those that friends could get out. The only time it faltered was in the crowd for Skindred and that was solved by the old-fashioned "holding phone aloft above the crowd" and enabled me to find my friends deep in the middle of it thanks to what3words. 3) The massage I got on Friday in the healing fields. A chair massage from Jelena... oh my word. 4) Getting some excellent quality time in with two of my best friends watching Fred Again, being up on my friend's shoulders for Marea 5) Rhythm of the 90s. Knew about it thanks to this place and it went down a storm with my gang, everyone raved about it the rest of the weekend 6) The moment during Cat Stevens' set when he was covering Here Comes The Sun, and I looked behind me to see an older couple - earl 70s maybe? - up on the shoulders of some young men, having the absolute time of their lives 7) The whole gang being united again only for the second time, right at the end, for Elton. In those intervening days we'd all had our own moments, our own festivals, but we bookended them together. Perfect.
  13. The War on Drugs. They had been on my must-see list since the line-up drop but when Sunday night came I got wrapped up in the plans to make sure I would be with my friends for Elton, and didn't want to risk missing anything, so gave TWOD up. Can just about bear it because I know I'll see them again, who knows, hopefully at Glasto at some point.
  14. This has been the set that most people have asked me about since I got back. I know that I and everyone I was with was very moved, and I was proud to be a part of that crowd singing along with him at the end. I hope he reply did feel that we all were with him - it looked like he did. I'll be right down at the front should I ever be at Glasto when he makes his return.
  15. Girl just Infront of me at Cat Stevens, when the screens were showing footage of him in younger years. Girl to friend on her left: Is that him when he was younger? Friend on her left: *shrug* Girl to friend on her right: Is that him when he was younger? Friend on her left: Dunno Girl: Well whoever it is, they're fit as f**k
  16. I saw this guy (on the right) around Croissant Neuf watching The Trouble Notes on Sunday, and then he turned up at No Bones Jones where I was eating right after. Great minds. He was very striking. Definitely the sharpest dressed man in a kilt I saw at the fest.
  17. InShot_20230627_203858730.mp4 Furthest thing from professional, just cobbled together from my "live" pictures on my Pixel, but it's made me pretty happy to make and share ☺️
  18. Haha, I agree with you on every point. It's a shame that her appearance has such a cloud over it now, as what she did put on blew all of my expectations out of the water, but that is 100% completely on her. All of this can be true. I was walking around the festival the first few days singing Ocean Boulevard to myself near constantly, so to see that would have been a moment. As would Video Games, as the song that started it all. And Venice Bitch would have been spectacular but if one (long) song had to go to make way for others, I would let that one drop! My partner has managed to download a rip of the original broadcast, so I've yet to rewatch it. I'm looking forward to it but also feel like it'll be tainted a bit by knowing the car crash that is coming at the end.
  19. I don't buy this whole anti-Glasto agenda thing people seem to be pushing. She's been late to her last two festival appearances, and I imagine she will be for her next shows too. More terminally unprofessional than specifically targeting Glasto. I really was thinking about getting a ticket for Hyde Park to hopefully see this full set live, but honestly I don't want to give her any more of my money right now. I looked forward to that set more than any other and now that a few days have passed, I'm feeling less forgiving (because of how gorgeous what we did see was) and more pissed off at her. I've loved Lana a long time without ever seeing her live, and I think I'll be quite happy to remain a fan that way going forward.
  20. 1. Fred Again 2. Wunderhorse 3. Lana (yes, despite everything) Bonus top act not on the main stages: The Trouble Notes at Croissant Neuf Edit: oh! Cat Stevens!
  21. Wednesday: 16,220 Thursday: 31,458 Friday: 34,564 Saturday: 25,641 Sunday: 26,112 Total: 133,995 Interested to see if this is more than last year!
  22. I was very nervous about this exact thing happening, considering her having been half hour late to both her recent shows. I of course hoped she would buck up for this, but it wasn't to be. As we neared the half hour late mark I actually started worrying that she may just not come out at all.. but she did. And I enjoyed the next hour the most I could, trying to forget about the possibility of tunes being cut. I was so proud of her for the show she put on. Her voice was so beautiful and she sang so much more confidently than she has on those most recent outings. I get that she likes a busy stage to aid with her stage fright I guess, but she had put much more thought into that too. The whole thing was amazing. Much the same set as recently, but I love all of her songs, essentially, so every one was a hit for me. It was gutting to realise she had been cut off. Indeed there was no one to blame but her, and I'm gutted. This half made me think I really do need to get tickets for Hyde Park - but then ai figure, if she is terminally late and does the same there, they will cut her off too (I was there when they did it for Bruce). Going all that way to miss the same songs again would be a real "fool me once.." situation.
  23. That'd be me. f**king devoed. Would have been at GnR but have waited years for this moment and she's f**ked it. Even if she shows up in the next few minutes we're getting a 45 minute set.
  24. That was one of my favourite Glasto sets ever. The moment, the memories made, the impeccable vibes. Cannot wait to rewatch it once home.
  25. No one in my group was particularly fussed to see them, either because they'd seen them loads before or didn't care for them at all. As it went, nostalgia won out so we ended up right at the top by the pylon. We had a great time - but that was likely due to our being absolutely wasted, coasting on the high of the vibes from Fred, and being endlessly amused that a friend who had claimed to not know anything about the Arctics knew every word to every other song. Fair to say though that the memories from that gig will have been entirely made by each other in our own company, rather than what was going on on stage.
