  1. I feel I must have just gotten really lucky with my navigation of yesterday evening - aside from when I left Avalon to go to Greenpeace about half seven (going against the sea heading to SEC). I was really surprised when at 10pm I decided to join my friends at Truth stage for Skindred - headed down from Theatre and Circus, walked straight into SEC, little busy turning the corner into Shangri-La but I was actually able to find my friends deep in the Truth crowd without any discomfort or difficulty. Apparently our other friends tried the same roughly ten minutes later and got nowhere 🤷🏻‍♀️ Number of them had talked about the awful time around the Glade for Example earlier though.
  2. I am still at work. Forty minutes to go 🙃
  3. Well, this was an extra shot of adrenaline I really wasn't prepred for on an already and anxiety riddled day 😅 But amazing news. Currently in queue to register, and have everything crossed for those Anfield shows.
  4. Decanted my spirits into pouches. Painted my nails. Made a list of things I just need to buy tomorrow, and then we're done!
  5. Saw Bruce again at Villa Park last night. I enjoyed it so much more than Dublin last month.. So glad to have heard The River again, wasn't expecting it. And so thankful that he didn't exclude Thunder Road this time. If this is to be the last time I get to see Bruce and the E Street Band live, I am glad it was at a gig such as that.

  7. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but I'm thinking that Allan Cooper's (the person posting this on fb) address is the one on the tickets, and the ticket holders have forgotten to update their details? Which would make posting them online worthwhile. Still, doesn't get around him opening post that isn't his though.
  8. This is the one set that I am probably most excited about, that I keep forgetting about, and then being overjoyed to remember. That setlist is unbelievable.. Gonna be tears for sure.

  10. Counting down the agonising hours until my workday ends at 8pm, anticipating getting home to do a final double check on my bags and fail to sleep.

  13. Jumpsuits can be a RISK when it comes to going to the loo - not something I would wear at Glasto (much as I love them!) but I've definitely seen them around. I tend to stick with leggings and t-shirts with a hoodie available most of the time, but I do like to have fun with clothes at Glastonbury, so always tend to take at least one outfit or option that is a bit ✨special✨ Last year I took Diana Ross as my cue/inspiration to re-wear one of my favourite outfits ever. Will no doubt knock something of the sort together for Lizzo and/or Elton this year. I have not yet worn sandals at Glastonbury, but if the weather suits and you have a trusty pair it's not a bad shout. I tend to just live in my walking boots (even if they rarely suit the ensemble of the day 🙃)
  14. 2 hours ago went for a lovely walk in baking heat. 1 hour ago walked home in a thundery rain shower. Stood outside in the yard for a bit getting soaked through and listening to Lizzo and can confirm it was still a good time. (Helped that I knew I could step inside and get changed at a moment's notice, but still.)
  15. Just going to quote myself, here, from this very Friday last year. Even so, we know how that turned out..
  16. Well that was easy! Pleasure doing business 😊
  17. Hi all, I imagine this is a bit of a long-shot as most people get sorted ahead of time - but I've ended up with a car park pass that is no longer needed (going to be in a friend's car which needs it's own pass for the accessible car park). Selling for £30, inc. postage. Let me know if you, or someone you know, is in need 🙂
  18. Just got on to her last week and really enjoying some of her tunes. A shame her new album isn't out until mid-Glasto but I will absolutely 100% be there at the Pyramid for her set. 'Lost the Break-up' and 'Blonde' my favourite tunes so far - definitely agree on the Swift comparisons. Looking forward to seeing her!
  19. I have had covid within the last month, so I'm hoping that will be enough to have me covered for the fest - although a friend did helpfully remind me that he once caught it twice within a month, but not much I can really do about that. I work with children and teenagers and they're constantly coming in for appointments with all manner of illnesses - all I can do is stay home the rest of the time, ingest as many vitamins as I can, and hope for the best!
  20. Yeah, I've thought about that too. She's only got 75 minutes - if a chunk of that goes missing I'm going to be royally pissed. I saw something said online that for the Sao Paulo show she was at a tattoo parlour with a member of her band an hour before she was meant to be on stage - not such a worry for her being off-site at Glasto, but then she could be *anywhere* on site 🥲 or just decide she wants to watch GnR for a bit..
  21. Much the same setlist last night but with some absolute choice audience requests added 🥹 https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/lana-del-rey/2023/novo-anhangabau-sao-paulo-brazil-33a6bca1.html Got me wondering if I need to get making a sign.. but for what song?!
  22. Mine wasn't working last I checked yesterday. My ticket has just been delivered and now when I look the tracker is all updated to "Delivered" - but not sure where it would have been this morning prior to me getting them.
  23. Gods Look Down was from when he was in the band 'Scream' Edit: pardon me - I just read the blurb on your YouTube link and now see the 'Churn' mention. Interesting! I only ever knew Gods Look Down as a Scream track.
  24. It looks like her set is pulling mainly from her latest album (Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard) and the singles from her debut, then with a few cuts from NFR! and Ultraviolence, and a couple others. I think the setlist is going to remain largely static for her festival shows but we'll see how that plays out as she is playing her second set in Brazil in two days time.
