Yeah that new Dua one is very underwhelming. Have loved her previous stuff but none of the 3 new singles are doing it for me at all. On the other hand, loving Chappell Roan due to some of the tips on here. Surprised no one has mentioned her new single from last week - Good Luck, Babe! Just listened to it straight after the new Dua and its miles better. Absolute Banger!

Still haven't changed my mind that it is a weak line-up overall, but headliner time is incredibly strong for me. Will be doing Dua / Coldplay / Justice which will easily be the best trio in my 3 years going. Not happy I will have to miss Jessie Ware and London Grammar - but that's Glasto for you. Jessie was great on The Park in 2022, and with a new album since then she will be fantastic on West Holts.

They also had footage from their Glasto 2004 Set on their Insta story about 5 days ago. I saw it and it did make me wonder. Something makes me think they might just pop up. Is there anything actually ruling them out? If the rumour that they are playing BST on the 30th is correct they might well be lined up for a Churnups slot on Friday?

A Ballot is a terrible idea. I can understand some of the logic as to why it may seem fairer, but it would honestly change the vibe of the Festival and not for the better. @Physical_graffiti and @gigpusher posts explain this better than me. No system is ever perfect, but the current system is way better than a ballot or heaven forbid ... Ticketmaster.

Trying to keep out of this debate all day, but the statement above is such utter nonsense. The "effort" put in varies massively. Some people refresh for 10-15 minutes and get fed-up, some don't even use F5. On the other hand I spent most of Saturday evening setting up as many devices as I could and had my Wife and kids up early and all hands on deck on Sunday morning (I hardly slept Sat night 🤣) I didn't use the hack and I got my own tickets for the 3rd year running and I firmly believe the effort I put in massively improves my odds. Luck certainly plays a huge part, but the "effort" helps significantly.

Have to agree - Gaga would be a blockbuster booking if it happened. Madonna would also be a big get and I would definitely be there, but I could imagine Gaga putting on a far better show. Would love it to be both of them

Gonna have to agree with you there. As someone else said, Anti Hero is a great lead single, but the album as a whole is a bit of a mixed bag. Nowhere near her best.

Great post - couldn't agree more. Call Me Maybe, while still a great tune live, is not even close to her best. And yes, big love for Comeback - no chance she will play it, but if I could choose any of her back catalogue for her to play, it would be right up there

You are me, except I am not torn. I finally caught her in Feb this year and it was one of the best gigs I have been to in years - so much fun from start to finish ... but I would also have loved to have seen Texas. They were one of my must sees and as @Quark says, you kind of forget how many good tunes they have. Pale Waves were also high up my list. Easily the worst clash of the weekend. However as much as it will probably be a similar set, Carly wins hands down. No way I am missing her at Glasto

Annoyingly Texas were in my top ten of acts to see from the initial poster, but CRJ wins that clash hands down for me. Probably my worst clash as I reckon Texas will go down well on a sunny afternoon on the Pyramid
