  1. Thanks! Haven't been on here much recently as I left all my packing to the last minute and the last few days have been very hectic finishing up at work and getting ready. Now I am on the ferry I can relax and enjoy the anticipation. The excitement is really building now. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  2. Here we f***ing go! Ferry just departed Belfast and finally on my way to Glasto for the first time. I actually cannot believe this is happening after all this time โ€ฆ. but it is ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Nothing stopping us now - see you all on the Farm ๐ŸŽ‰
  3. Aah mate .... you can't just leave it at that. All rumours welcome on here *edit - saw you just posted it - thanks
  4. Excellent plan - that's exactly what I will be doing - 1hr of Macca then down for full Jessie set on The Park
  5. Will be excitedly waiting for the campervan to be delivered at 10am. Everything ready to throw into it and set off for the ferry around noon and then the adventure begins ๐Ÿ˜
  6. I will definitely be there - looking forward to meeting you all ๐Ÿ˜

Perfect set! Seriously - a set like that followed by a PSB party would be an absolutely glorious end to the festival. For me nothing could make up for the loss of Swifty, but that would come bloody close! Would be well happy ๐Ÿ˜

Would be perfect if she could just squeeze Tennis Court in as well ๐Ÿคž

She one of my top must sees and that set would be brilliant. Canโ€™t wait

    Favourite music day?

Friday by a mile, then Sunday, then Saturday For me Friday is stacked all day, but weak on headliners. Still deciding between Billie / Foals but not big into either. Sunday is the exact opposite - weaker during the day but with 3 headliners clashing that I would pick if they were on any other night - PSB / Charli / Bicep. Decisions, decisions but probably will be at PSB.
  11. Ah c'mon let us dream ๐Ÿ˜Š I am still clinging onto the idea that Swifty is going to pop up somewhere and do a stripped back Folklore / Evermore set as a precursor to headlining the big one next year ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿคž
  12. How solid is that rumour? That's pretty much the only free space on my clashfinder all weekend so would be keen to be at that one ... but Paolo Nutini is a bit underwhelming to say the least

FFS - heโ€™s done it again. Scheduling f***ing issues apparently. What does that even mean?! https://www.rte.ie/entertainment/2022/0607/1303422-killers-announce-support-bands-after-fender-pulls-out/ At least I will be seeing him at Glasto but many others at this gig wonโ€™t. This sort of shit and the Jonny Depp stuff is starting to take the shine off for me

Here you go - Looking amazing this evening https://panodata.panomax.com/cams/879/recent_full.jpg
  15. Any pointers as to where to get a good Glasto list? Unfortunately I am not as lucky as you to have one from the last time as this is my first. There must be some good lists somewhere on the internet - anyone any recommendations?

Great spot - nothing gets past the watchful eyes on here!
  17. I hope so - watched her 1 big weekend set on iplayer and thought she was very good. Just realised I am going to be spending a good part of my first music day at Glasto stood in a bloody tent ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
  18. I could quite happily spend my Friday in the JP - Griff > Inhaler > Girl In Red > Sigrid > Phoebe Bridgers. The only thing breaking that run for me is Wolf Alice, and then my worst clash of the weekend - Phoebe vs Sam. Was thinking of watching a bit of Phoebe, but probably best to not torture myself as it may be hard to leave. Best just to make a beeline for the Pyramid after Sigrid to get a good spot for Sam Fender.
  19. Agreed on the new album - its above average, but not to the standard of her last one. I will definitely be there though - funnily enough I am the opposite to you - she's in a relatively clash free zone for me. I will be Wolf Alice > Sigrid > Sam Fender. Good times
  20. Brilliant line-up - will probably see more acts here than anywhere else.

Although to be fair HADQ only takes up 2 minutes and is fun. My 12 year old son will be fuming if he doesnโ€™t play it - he spent the next few days after the gig singing in a Geordie accent โ€œWoah, woah, woah, woah, woah, woah, woah, Keep your distance, I said woah, woah, woah, woah, That's less than two f***ing metersโ€. Was funny at first but got a bit annoying ๐Ÿ˜‚

Completely agree with all the comments on his setlist choices - bizarre. Hypersonic Missiles, Saturday and Dead Boys were my favourites along with Seventeen and Spit of you when I saw him recently. Love Mantra but would drop it from the Glasto set, along with Spice and HADQ, and put the 3 above back in and weโ€™re all good!
  23. This is exactly where I am at! I will probably end up at Billie for the same reason. It is all a bit weird as Friday below the headliners is absolutely stacked. Without exaggerating there are genuinely 15 acts pre-headliner that I would love to see, but will have to be reduced to 6 somehow! Then we hit the headliners and for me its just a bit meh.
  24. My clashfinder is currently showing a pretty good mix of stages, but was not expecting that I would be in JP so much! Pyramid - 5 Other - 4 West Holts - 0 Park - 3 John Peel - 7 No West Holts at all - would have liked to have seen Bicep on WH, but unfortunately clashes with PSB
  25. I know this forum is only a small sample, but it is really noticeable how few on this thread will be at Billie.
