    Guns n Roses

He sounded good enough. I was impressed with how the band kept the energy going for that amount of time. Graphics were good as well.

    Guns n Roses

I was lucky enough to see them in Abu Dhabi - set list was massive, nearly 3.5 hours of tracks. At Glasto they are going to absolutely destroy it, and more. Wish I was there. Enjoy the festival everyone. ‘It’s So Easy’ Bad Obsession’ (First time since February 6, 1993) ‘Chinese Democracy’ ‘Slither’ (Velvet Revolver cover) ‘Pretty Tied Up’ (First time since April 6, 1992) ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ ‘Mr. Brownstone’ ‘Hard Skool’ ‘Double Talkin’ Jive’ ‘Reckless Life’ ‘Absurd’ ‘You Could Be Mine’ ‘Down on the Farm’ (UK Subs cover) (First time since December 20, 2006) ‘Rocket Queen’ ‘T.V. Eye’ (The Stooges cover) (Duff McKagan on vocals, Live debut) ‘Anything Goes’ (First time since August 1, 1988) ‘Civil War’ ‘This I Love’ (First time since November 14, 2018) ‘Live and Let Die’ (Wings cover) ‘Estranged’ ‘Sweet Child o’ Mine’ ‘November Rain’ ‘Wichita Lineman’ (Jimmy Webb cover) ‘Street of Dreams’ ‘Nice Boys’ (Rose Tattoo cover) (First time since February 11, 2017) ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door’ (Bob Dylan cover) ‘Nightrain’ ‘Patience’ ‘Don’t Cry’ ‘My Michelle’ (First performance since November 29, 2017) ‘Paradise City’

    Crowd Etiquette

When Diana Ross was on, I put my cider down for a minute to get something out my bag, turned to grab the cider and the kid behind me had put her ice cream in it - her dad apologised, i said it was fine, these things happen, was very funny.
  4. Pix my friend sent who is on site. site
  5. I've Sama Abdulhadi on my list to watch and she's playing twice over the weekend
  6. Vacuum packed - no bulk, which is a winner as I'm taking the coach. Off to Briz tomorrow and on site Thursday at 9am. That's a very flat pillow for decent sleep.
  7. Turn off notifications, background app refresh, and turn on battery low power mode if needed. I just turn on airplane mode and check phone every couple hours or when I need to meet up with mates.
  8. Ripcurl BoardWalk shorts - they dry in minutes Footy socks to keep your legs warm.
  9. This has been around for some time - always good for a reminder of the scale http://gsp8181.co.uk/glasto/ It's a sized map overlay of the festival.
  10. Or they could allow festival goers to choose printed tickets or an electronic one at the point of sale and allow some choice. Using Starlink is a great idea.
  11. I’m good with heat, but still need to adapt. Taking umbrella for instant shade when needed sitting down, and wearing wrist sweat bands soaked in water.
  12. Gonna be fine - few ciders, music, decent crew, pingers and all will be nice up! - but i'm still hooked on the weather outcome. Dry, gotta be dry as much as poss.
  13. £100 a day, maybe more if I'm buying rounds, but I'm luckily enough to be in a position to do that amount this year. Plus I like buying mates drinks - standard for my once a year Glasto crew. Like Rakim said, 'spending cash, to make a good time last'.

    Best Bars

The Bar called the 'Bar' near Tony Benn Tower is my first cider stop.
  15. I think Spike is going to be a hangout bar / area to bridge the new Glade Dome and Classic Glade area. The disco ball needs to stay - that's a classic. I hope the Spike DJ with the single record player still has a spot somewhere.
  16. That's an easy fix for next week
  17. My postie had to take a photo of me with my parcel for a signed delivery the other day - can you ask if they did the same and had taken a photo of the person who accepted the delivery?
  18. I'm doing half and half Other Stage to WH is not that long of a walk - Bicep first, finale with PSB.

    Love the farm?

Working at Boardmasters last year - on the Monday I wandered around the site before heading home - picked up 5 brand new camping chairs, 1 tent, 3x roll mats and various camping gear, new pegs, bungee cords, head lamp torches, 45ish cans of beer still in boxes, 5x camping stools, mini trolley - all which people left behind. Some of my work crew took home large 5 berth tents. People leave stuff instead of taking it home which is totally unacceptable. I did my best to take as much as I could and I handed it out to friends on my return. Simple rule - if you take it in - take it home.
