  1. That was next level good… Jon Hopkins was also excellent the following year, and Bicep the year after. West Holts needs another decent electronic headliner 2024. 2023 wasn’t great for us.
  2. In but a bit bitter sweet as one of groups didn’t make it. Holding out hope for the resale
  3. My fear now is that, even if the host file exploit was a small percentage of the general sale, is it going to make it even more difficult for those not using something like this in the resale?
  4. We're in the same position as you, we're in Cape Town atm. Hopefully you've got decent connectivity and you've avoided any planned loadshedding! Good luck!
  5. It's not partial information, I explained my entire experience (which others have also had) in an earlier reply to you. You implied previously that is wasn't a technical problem and only conceeded that See made the process opaque and messy. However, you've also incorrectly assumed the below which unfairly casts doubt over the validity or truth surrounding the experiences plenty of people have documented - 1. People not understanding / following the reconfirmation process all the way to the end.2. Confusion caused by people having (old) registrations they'd forgotten about (often on alternate email aliases that still end up in their usual inbox)
  6. @incident if you're so confident that it was user error, can you tell me why i got this email? And why my account was still there when I looked up it up on numerous occasions after receiving it?
  7. Usually it's only credit card for international however our (Irish) debit cards worked for balance payment in April so maybe things have changed with the new ticketing process.
  8. I updated and got also email confirmation. I then double checked on the website and found my account. All good. I then got that deletion email a few days later so again checked website and my registration was still there. It was only on Tuesday when I was prepping for the sales window that I found my registration had ultimately been deleted at some stage after I had checked.
  9. Sorry, but you're wrong on this one.... Here's my experience and I've read pleny of others with similar online. This wasn't just a case of users forgetting.
  10. We did. Myself and herself booked a 2 week holiday to SA. The change has screwed us (but I was also one of the people who's regsitration was incorrectly deleted so I can see it from both sides).
  11. I imagine this has been discussed to death now given we're on page 15 but I thought I'd chime in with my experience. First things first - I'm very organised when it comes to Glastonbury, verging on OCD, like most of us here on efests. I did as I was told and re-registered my details and also received email confirmation to state all was well and good. I even did a manual look up to confirm my account was still there (there's the OCD). A few days later, I got that rather opaque email about accounts being deleted. So, again, I jumped on to the site and confirmed my account was still there. All was good. Fast forward to Tuesday (I've been working abroad for the last month), and our Glasto WhatsGroup is alive with preparations. As I do each year (because I was nearly stung by a friend who mistyped their postcode into our Glasto spreadsheet), I starting checking all accounts - begining with my own. When the look up brought up nothing, I requested that my details to be emailed to me. This is when I got the terrible news and was met with a warning to say there as no account associated with my email address... after registration had closed. Following advise on here, I emailed See Tickets that night and received a response first thing Wednesday morning - like, 09:02am, first thing. No questioning, just send on your details and a photo. Within 30 mins a new account was created for me. Clearly, I wasn't the first person to come to them with this problem. Taking the decision to delay ticket sales, with 4 hours notice, is pretty major. This wasn't just a handful of accounts deleted nor was people not paying attention to the vast amount of notice we got to re-register. This looks to be a pretty siginificant issue at See Tickets. I get the frustration from some but it felt pretty awful to find my account was deleted. However, I too had planned everything around this weekend (as I was unaware my account was deleted) and now will be on holidays on the otherside of the world with terrible internet for the new resale date. TL;DR - The whole thing has been a complete shambles (however hat tip to See Tickets Customer Support who sorted my new account so quickly!).
  12. Yep. If your account was deleted you get a warning to say "no registration associated with this email"
  13. Yeah, fingers & toes crossed. I wouldn't mind but I even checked my registration was still there on the website after I got the confirmation email. The only reason I noticed that it was gone was because I was double checking things again ahead of the weekend.
  14. I'm in the same position. Email received to say they had received my updated details but now as I go to check my registration its saying there's nothing there. Disaster.
  15. I've never got stomach pains from the tap water onsite but once or twice in 2017 I noticed that it sometimes smelled/tasted a bit like chlorine. I knew it was going to be safe though so I just popped a hydration/energy tablet in to mask the taste.
  16. Also, Lady Gaga is godmother to Eltons kids...
  17. I could be completely wrong but Elton gives the impression that he's the kind of person that wouldn't want to be outdone by the year previous. So maybe some really big surprises? Dolly, Barlow... Eminem? Maybe even Beyonce but he reportedly didn't like her covers for the Lion King remake.

Credit to my friends on this one but as well as CHuRnuP (RHCP) has anyone spotted - CHilis tURNUP
  19. She must have been one of the first - 19th May. We're also in Ireland too so I'm guessing with the box office collection fiasco last year, they're making sure to get the overseas deliveries out first.
  20. Cool the jets, chief. No need for the obscenities. There's a reason I only posted a small section of the ticket (as well as being aware of what others have already mentioned above)
  21. Friend has received hers! Photo incoming...
  22. This actually doubles up as a great "who to see" for me. Your T1 and T2 pretty much lines up with mine so now to delve into your T3 - no doubt you've inadvertently steered me towards some acts I'm going to like. Nice one!
  23. I love the (almost) hysteria over ticket delivery... a most wonderful time of the year! 😂
