  1. What a shitshow. We're coming from Dublin, via. Holyhead, and aiming to be on the farm for 4am-ish on Wednesday to inevitably end up at the box office too. If there's anything we can do to help, feel free to ping me.
  2. Yep, that's the one. Tbh, it shouldn't even matter if they reply. If all goes wrong you just want as much proof that you went out of your way to get things sorted and the fault lies squarely with them.
  3. You'd hope they're in a better place 14 years later. I wondering how much See make off Glasto. Ticketmaster will be rubbing their hands together at all of this, particularly now that Melvin Benn is back involved.
  4. If I was you, I'd definitely email See just so you have an email trail. If the ticket doesn't land in time, you don't want them trying to mess you around like those who have had their tickets delivered to the wrong address. You want to be able to show your concern for it's arrival from the start and firmly put the ball back in their court.
  5. Another important piece of information for dispatched Irish tickets - the following is from See Tickets general t&c's: We cannot usually specify the dates on which you will receive tickets. If you do not inform us of the non-receipt of tickets within a reasonable time (in any event at least 72 hours before the event) we will have no liability to you. So if you haven't received your tickets by the weekend (probably Saturday as An Post dont deliver on Sundays), I'd make sure to start the email trail just to be safe. https://www.seetickets.com/content/terms-and-conditions
  6. Such a mess. One of the girls in our group (who got the box office collection email earlier) has now also just got an email to say her ticket is being prepared for dispatch. There's a glimmer of hope that it might arrive before we leave on Monday morning but she's now also at risk of being someone See claim the ticket was delivered to if the postman decides to pop it in the letter box after we leave.
  7. Also Mark Kristensen, Head of Onsite services for See in the UK...
  8. You can raise a complaint with See Tickets at customercare@seetickets.com
  9. I'm just not sure how the logistics would work. Like, there's definitely going to be a sizeable queue at the BO depending on the time of day. That'll quickly become a queue of cars.
  10. Our Update: 1/7 recieved this morning. 3/7 just got a generic email to say they're box office collection. 3/7 just got a reply to a previous email asking if we wanted to update to collection now as they haven't been sent. 0/3 parking passes sent.
  11. Ffs. They're defo not going to allow cars into the coach area just to pick up tickets
  12. Good job but I'd also not limit to the Guardian. Given they've a working relationship with Glastonbury, they may not want to get involved and choose to avoid. I'd be thinking about all those click bate media outlets who love to scrape content from social too.
  13. What a shambles. - No information on how you get in to the car park without the pass (that is with our tickets) - No information on how you get from the car parks to the box office (from memory there's no direct route to PGA before 8am on Wednesday other than the road) - A requirement to bring the card used to purchase (what if we didn't use our own card to purchase?) Wild.
  14. I'm not going to post a link but the chap over Glasto at See Tickets is on LinkedIn, as well as Twitter. You could also go nuclear and get in touch with one of the newspapers that is constantly pushing Glasto content. Also has he been able to contact See over the phone or is it all via. email?
  15. These stories are really starting to piss me off. How can someone pay £300 for a ticket and then have See Tickets, RM and in particular - Glastonbury Festival - wash their hands with it when clearly theres been breach of the terms & conditions? It's absolutely disgusting. My heart is broken for the poor chap. In Ireland we have this that gives free legal advise on things like this, surely the UK have something similar? https://www.ccpc.ie/consumers/contact/contact-us/
  16. This was a great find in 2019. I'll defo be trying to get our gang back there again next week. Great beer, pizza and a lovely chilled vibe sitting along the river. https://g.page/LHGBrewpub?share
  17. Still waiting on our end, here's hoping 🤞 If not today, they ain't arriving before our ferry at 8am on Monday 😑 Great to see people are finally getting them though!
  18. Sorry no, they haven't said anything yet. It's more a guess given we're this close to the festival now. Tbf, you still have a couple of days for them to get to you but probably worth hitting them up again on email.
  19. Are you based in the UK? At this stage, if they haven't been sent, chances are they'll get diverted for box office collect. You can find the status of your tickets here: https://www.seetickets.com/customerservice/checkorder It's the same story with pretty much all tickets being sent to Ireland. Pretty much none have been sent and its doubtful they'll arrive on time even if they do now.
  20. Starting on Monday its Dublin to Holyhead to Bristol (with a stop somewhere on the way... maybe Wolverhampton). Then it's Bristol to the farm first thing Wednesday morning!
  21. A quick update on the one ticket sent from our group - its out for delivery with An Post today. So at least we have some sort of time frame - sent on Friday, departed UK on Saturday, sorted in Ireland on Monday, out for delivery Tuesday. It's actually so frustrating now knowing they could have just sent them sooner (as in, there wasnt any particular reason to hold back the Irish tickets until the end) and avoided all of this hassle...
  22. We've asked both See and the Festival numerous times and keep getting told they'll let us know closer to the festival. If proper arrangements aren't put in place, it's got the potential to cause traffic delays for everyone. We're 3 cars and leave on Monday morning so realistically, we're now going to be heading to the farm with no tickets or parking passes.
