I'm going to say the only one of those that could feasibly top the Pyramid next year is Miley. I don't think Beyonce will ever do it again, but she is next closest. I think you're unlikely to see any of the others at the festival again in any way. Give me Miley though, please and thanks.

I completely agree. Hot Fuss is one of my all-time favourite albums... But imagine them getting past those first 5 tracks on the Pyramid on Friday afternoon. Once Andy, You're A Star begins, the crowd are just going to start talking amongst themselves, so I definitely think they'd have to mix the order up to keep the show engaging

Hot Fuss is a cover to cover great album, but it just would not hold the attention of a festival audience after the 5th song because those fist 5 songs are so f**king good. It's possibly the strongest opening half of a debut album ever - Jenny Was a Friend of Mine, Mr Brightside, Smile Like You Mean It, Somebody Told Me, All These Things That I've Done. You just can't follow that.

Yeah, I think if they were to do it, they'd definitely have to mix the setlist up a little so they don't just play the album cover to cover. It would absolutely kill the crowd after 5 songs. I think they should also throw in a few other tracks and get maybe 75 minutes. I'd go with; Somebody Told Me Jenny Was a Friend of Mine On Top Human Andy, You're A Star Everything Will Be Alright Smile Like You Mean It Glamourous Indie Rock 'n' Roll Midnight Show Change Your Mind* Read My Mind All These Things That I've Done When You Were Young Mr Brightside *Maybe - it is on the US version of the album

I'd say it's now ever so slightly more than 50% likely that they turn up and do a Hot Fuss show. This country gave The Killers their big break by falling in love with Hot Fuss. In that interview, Brandon said that they're doing Hot Fuss shows, and there is also a GSH in their touring schedule. What better place to play tribute to one of the most significant albums of the last 20 years in British guitar music (I know they're American, but they are adopted Brits) than at the biggest festival in The UK - Which also happens to be broadcast to every TV in the country. This is a guaranteed way to make sure everybody has a chance to see the album played live. I'd be well on board for this.

Where do we go if Madonna actually is rules out though? A one-off Harry Styles show? Maybe Adele? Or a run-of-the mill headliner like Foos, Muse or The Killers? Edit: Just checked The Killers' tour dates, and despite being in the UK for about a month for 15 shows, they have an entire week off starting on the Thursday of Glasto. Potentially one to keep an eye on for an appearance. I'd be excited because they're one of my favourite bands, but would also be pretty disappointed if they headlined just 3 festivals on from last time. Would be buzzed if they did a Churnups-type set to promote Rebel Diamonds though

I've seen a lot of their regular and long-term fans bail out of this because of the price, and it looks like the pre-sale hasn't sold out for any date. See how it goes on Friday, but I think they could have really dropped a bollock here.

I won tickets for Muse, then yesterday won tickets for Jingle Bell Ball (I'm not going, but my mum is very excited!) I realised that your weekly entries don't stack up higher than 12 plays, so now I'm going to make sure I don't let them go to waste.

My two pence on this one, but I don't think Dave will ever headline. He's undoubtedly big in the UK, but I don't think he is Glasto headline level. In my opinion, he's Other headline/Pyramid sub level, and I think he's going to end up in that Biffy Clyro sort of loop where he's going to hit a point where the headline slot just isn't going to happen, for whatever reason, but anything lower feels like a bit of a consolation prize. I'm happy to be proved wrong on this one in the next few years, because we desperately need more headline-calibre acts to break through to get rid of the likes of Coldplay coming back every other year

Phones should abolutely not be banned at gigs, but I do think there needs to be more of a standard etiquette around it. For example, don't lift it in the air and block people's view for extended amounts of time - A second here or there is fine, in my opinion. You should also keep your brightness down, to avoid blinking other people around you.

It would depend on the stadium and sort of run they do - Bille or Kendrick could easily do a one night show at one of the big London stadiums, or do a run of park shows and smaller stadiums such as Plymouth, Doncaster, etc - Similar to The Killers/Arctic Monkeys' recent tours

No way. They're popular in a specific subculture. They've had just one of their 4 albums go to number 1, and the last only peaked at number 3. They've only spent a total of 3 weeks in the top 100 singles charts. Last time they played, they had a middle billing on Other, and haven't got much bigger since. Other headline tends to be arena stature bands, whilst Pyramid is stadium and Woodsies/Park/West Holts tend to be bigger academy/Ally Pally sized acts. Idles fit very well into just one of those categories, and it doesn't put them on Other.

I can't see Idles ever being big enough for The Other Stage headline... Woodsies, definitely but not Other

I think The Prodigy must be nailed on for an Other set. I also reckon the Churnups thing could be a fun thing they do going forward - They can pull a headline-sized act/a "Not right to headline, too big for anything else" in each year, have some fun with the code-name and create a new major slot at the festival. You could get the likes of Liam Gallagher in a slot like that, I reckon
