I have a good omen for you all; My girlfriend has never seen rain at Glastonbury (2017, 2019, 2022) and she was the one that got through to get our tickets this morning - The first time she's ever seen the booking page herself. I have also seen very little rain at Glasto (the only occasion being that incident in 2014 which cut the power)

I can't see it being real. Having said that, I was told by somebody in the industry a few months ago, when I asked about Liam's DM tour before it was announced, that "He has bigger fish to fry" next year... But honestly I think he was pulling my leg
-
I'm still not entirely convinced by Coldplay/Dua/Madonna and I don't know why. There's literally nobody else around to play, but that trio just doesn't work in my head
-
I'm in. I thought I was done with the festival, but a friend told me they're playing a set and I just can't miss that
-
Yes, a friend of a friend had this issue
-
Damn not the best chances ever!
-
Do we have a link yet?
-
Really!? That's actually schocked me

Houdini only at number 3 in the midweek charts behind Jack Harlow at number 1 and The Beatles at number 2 feels weird
-
FWIW, though I have no reason to doubt that the person that told me the Madonna thing was telling their truth, I'm not entirely convinced they were fed correct information because they said "I don't think so" when I mentioned Dua Lipa. As I said, take as much salt as you want on this one
-
Take this with as much salt as you like, but I've heard from my mate that works in gigs that Madonna is completely off the table now. Not sure how much I personally believe it, but thought it worth sharing.
-
I've heard otherwise through my friend that works in ticketing. Some shows were supposed to go on sale on the week that listing appeared, but it seems to have disappeared for now.
-
I'd argue that she's much bigger now. Flowers has arguably been the biggest song this year.
-
Nobody else thinks the song is just a bit "meh" then? My girlfriend and I just listened to it for the first time and we both came away with an "Oh okay" feeling... Like it's not bad, but it's just okay?
-
The Killers are easily in my top 5 favourite bands of all time, but they absolutely should not be headlining next year. I think that they'll be back one day, but honestly I'd say give it 15 years, and return for a nostalgia set. That being said, get them on a secret set again, playing lesser known tracks? Sign me the f**k up.

Ha, after re-reading the comment, I realised you meant that Madonna is the biggest artist that hasn't yet played the Pyramid... I had originally read it as she would be the biggest to have ever played it! Sorry mate, haha
-
Yeah I don't think she's not headliner worthy, just doesn't feel like a hugely exciting booking. Even in terms of newer acts, it doesn't feel like a "moment" booking like Stormzy was. Maybe you're right, though, our expectations have started to get too high. Yeah, that's a fair point. I think the "meh" factor comes from the fact that she feels like she's not very exclusive. Despite the fact that I can't actually recall seeing her on any lineups post-pandemic, it almost feels as if she's one of those acts like Arctic Monkeys, where if you wanted to see them, you could have. I dunno. No doubt she'll be good, just sometimes I feel like I need to dump my reactions in here 🤣

More Bruce dates coming. Got to remember, by the way, that the artist decides whether dynamic pricing is put in place, not Ticketmaster.
-
Anyone else kinda feel a bit weird with the likely Dua Lipa booking? I don't think there is any argument against her popularity (the numbers don't lie) but it just feels like an "Oh okay so that's happening" sort of booking. I feel like it will be reasonably busy, but it doesn't feel like a hype booking. I dunno, maybe it's just me but it certainly doesn't feel like an exciting booking, even if it's a solid booking
-
That Wembley date caught me off guard. I'd seen he was playing there but the date wasn't set. Fully expected it to be in May woth the SoL show
-
England is coming soon after Ireland in that case
-
Looks that way, but think it is just going to be select dates, not the whole tour
-
I'm cautious about what to say as I don't want to get them in trouble... but it is pre-Glasto
