Got absolutely shafted by TM today. Even when I selected the £110+ tickets, it kept offering my the awful tier 5 seats behind the stage, then kicked me out whem I refused them too many times.

Jheeeezzz what a rollercoaster. Ended up with 2 in 503. Not the best but you'd rather be in than not

f**king FURIOUS. Got in, the website refreshed itself and then said "Your queue position is no longer valid." Made me rejoin the queue and gone from the from to 12k

They would be able to do it if it's inside a certain area. If they had the same barriers as the entrance to the SE corner from T+C with stewards at the entrance to the front sections of each stage, they could stop people from blocking the stage

It was a very odd encounter. Sometimes I'll just say to my girlfriend "Remember when I threw a man?" because, everything else aside, that sentence is amusing.

Would it work if the festival allowed people to send their flags in, and have them put up in various tactical places, a bit like they do at football stadiums? I personally think that the idea of no flags in front of the sound desk is the best way forward though

Re: the coke... I thought it was really bad last year. On Thursday morning at about 5am, some lad was absolutely off his tits on f**k knows what, behaving like he'd just come out of The Last of Us. He was slapping our tent, which woke me up. I got up to try and get him to go to bed, but he was so mangled that he couldn't communicate. He then fully punched my tent, and hit my girlfriend's head. I don't know what happened, but my primal defense strength kicked in. I somehow picked said gentleman up and threw him. Some stewards happened to walk by, as the guy got up and ran at me like a feral beast. I called over to them as I tripped him up and held him to the ground. They took him to medical services, I went back to sleep. When I woke up, I had these two massive Geordie lads asking me if I knew what happened to their mate... Luckily, they were quite chill about it, they said he refused to go to bed and kept drinking. When we got back to the tent on Thursday evening, the lad was passed out on a chair. His mates thanked me for getting him to a steward. They said he'd gone too far, and started throwing up when he got there. If I hadn't called them, he could have done it and choked outside the tent, so I essentially saved his life. I didn't see the guy awake at any time during the festival, but the people I camped with, said that on Sunday afternoon he came round to apologise, packed all his stuff and went home. Hope the guy learned a lesson and hasn't gone that hard since.

Miley 100% wouldn't seeing as she doesn't tour, and I don't think Springsteen would either.

It would be a hell of a lot easier to get a ticket for one of those than glasto! That's just three that I'd do off the top of my head. The Miley, Bruce, Elton trio just sounds so much stronger than AM, GnR and Elton. I feel like there's a huge pool of artists that the festival could choose from, but they're obviously going to get the "But it's not rock" people going

It need to be a Paul McCartney every year, but just a bit more exciting than what we ended up with. Off the top of my head right now, I'd have gone for Miley Cyrus on the Friday, Bruce Springsteen on the Saturday and kept Elton on Sunday.

For my money, headliners are vital. My main interest when I go to Glasto is to watch music, and I want to see the biggest and best acts that I can't see anywhere else. This year is the worst trio of headliners for a long while in terms of that. AM played just another date on their UK tour. GnR played just another date on this never-ending reunion tour. Elton is playing just another date on his farewell tour. Aside from it being Elton's final UK show, there is no prestige in booking any of these headliners

I haven't been able to watch anything on iPlayer, just seen odd bits on dodgy online streams! I watched most of AM and GnR and thought they were both shocking. Loyle Carner right now seems like the best thing I've seen so far. I was also disappointed with the Christine and the Queens clip. I loved the Chris album, but he's taken a turn away from the pop that I like into a more arty direction, which is a shame but what can you do?

I ended up not even trying for a ticket this year. Almost feel like it's my fault 😂

In the last 10 years, I haven't spent many Glastos at home... But from my sofa, this festival feels like maybe it wasn't so bad that I didn't get a ticket. Granted, I haven't watched as much of the festival as some others may have, but almost everything I've seen so far, I've thought it was pretty crap. Is anyone else feeling the same, that the festival is having a very very weak year?

Flags used to be cool but now they have become too much. In 2019, Christine and the Queens had security go through the crowd and remove every flag before they came on
