  1. Not that I've seen, but I've only been shown 3 dates
  2. Not online but I've seen a few of them through my friend that works for a ticketing agent
  3. I'd put Bruce very low on the scale now. His UK tour dates aren't going to put him in the country during the festival.
  4. Fair points. I've also just read that The Stones are supposedly "locked in" for a 20 date US tour in late spring/early summer so would probably rule them out of the UK/Europe next summer, going by recent schedules from them
  5. I'm not convinced it's The Stones, either, but I think it's worth keeping them in mind. I don't even necessarily think that the US "OMG" act and the fact they've held out so long have the be related to the same artist. Maybe the wait is because they're taking a gamble on getting a HUGE set of headliners. From what I can gather, it may well be two male headliners, one female headliner and one female legend. At least one of those four is a huge/difficult to book American act. As people have mentioned, maybe the legend is Stevie Nicks, who would fit the bill of American, female legend and an OMG act as Glasto have been after FM for so long.
  6. This is making me wonder whether The Stones could be in the frame. They don't book any gigs until it's within a few months of the show for age/insurance reasons
  7. I said in the leadup that Kendrick was going to have an all-time small crowd for a Pyramid headliner, and got absolutely crucified for it on here (even accused of racism for it) but it appears I wasn't wrong. Acts like him just do not have the right sort of appeal for it. The same would happen to someone like Bad Bunny - Currently the world's biggest artist. Just because they're insanely popular, doesn't mean it's going to work on the pointy one. I know it's a long-running joke but the "Has my mum heard of them?" thing is usually a very good judge of how big the crowd is going to be.
  8. I'd put her back in the frame
  9. Hope he makes his way to The UK at some point. I like him as a personality and his shows look good. On another note, have we ruled P!nk out yet?
  10. This is exactly what it is for me. We've booked a 5 night trip to LA in a few weeks. Flights and hotel have come to pretty much the same cost as our 2 tickets
  11. With the current pricetag, I'm not sure I'll ever go back. I want to go, but I can't justify that price, especially as the lineups seem to appeal to me less every year. It kinda makes me sad whenever I think about it. I felt so much love for Glastonbury over the years, but now it feels like the end of a relationship.
  12. Over £700 for two of us before you consider fuel, spending money, car park, etc... Don't think we can justify that, especially considering that we went to a 5* hotel for a week earlier this year in Greece and spent £750 all-in.
  13. She's way too big to sub imo. I don't think she'll ever be back at Glasto because she won't sub or play Other, but also wouldn't be considered a headliner by the festival
  14. I see. I had assumed that they had tickets that would normally go to seatfillers!
  15. Just had some luck with Muse. Looks to be good seats as well. I fully expected upper tier

    Brixton Crush

The Met Police are a joke
  17. ORod coming next week, apparently
  18. Well done! I'll hope for the ballot, or if they're still not selling well, I might be able to get one on Twickets or SFF nearer the time
  19. Ah is this for people that won a ticket? I only got power ballot entry. Damn. Thanks anyway
  20. I was flicking through some old NMEs the other day. Kasabian were one of them, I remember that
  21. Went for the day on Saturday. Highlight was when Kate Nash asking for people to shout the name of a dickhead down the mic, somebody said Tom Meighan. Brilliant.

    The Killers

Thought it was a bit tone-deaf but some people are acting as if he walked out on stage draped in a Russian flag and spent the entire set saying he hated Georgia. People on the internet nowadays seem almost incapable of taking a step back from a situation, and instead choose to immediately go for the pitchforks.
