Same story here. Got in after I got the tweet. Had to do back and proceed a few times and at 1 point it only allocated 1/2 but if worked. Confirmed @ 09:25. It's always worth a random shot Over the moon we got us all in! 1 on Thursday and 2 today completed the group.

I'm on US time at the moment. This one really was a sucker punch. Probably the first one that really got me if I'm honest. If you can hold a crowd covering Bowie and Freddie you are a legend. Very grateful I got to see that. My heart goes out to his family and friends. To happen to Dave again is truly tragic. 😔

So glad I read this! We are trying for 3 and 1 doesn't know the other 2! It does make me feel more confident though as now we need 1 Wednesday from London and 2 any day from anywhere more south than Newcastle.

Had a great few hours at the improv tent in the Park. Just a tent with a bunch of instruments and noone booked to play. I remember some Beatles, Disney and Fleetwood mac medelys. Perfect after having a few ciders watching the sun set from the hill. Also the circus. I try not to restrict myself to Wednesday and Thursday though. I spend a lot of gaps chilling in there.

Is there specific info putting first Aid Kit on the Park? I'd have expected early-ish on Pyramind

I'm not saying they should, only that this way of doing things would have that effect. The festival is a business, selling out is critical to their survival. A possible easier resale suits me and other's who would have marked the dates in their diarx as soon as they were announced. That doesn't mean I think it's likely to happen

I'm so impatient for it but also I really believe this would reward those die hard fans who need success in the resale. My group are also looking for 2 more tickets and could have a future dropout if we don't get them (one newbie's wife). I've banged on enough for the last 2.5 years about how amazing it is that all 5 of us with tickets already paid up immediately. Sure it's a bit of a risk for the festivl but surely it would sell out after a line up is released? even if that is after the resale day. I just can't see how not!

Argh! I was holding onto hope that there was a chance for friends if they didn't succeed in the resale. The stakes just got even higher!

Sorry, when you said "they" do not exist any more do you mean hopitality, or secret resales n general?

Had a huge panic when I was unable to pay at 9am. Then I realise it was 9am CET and only 8am GMT. 😅

We are 5/5 and wanting 3 more. All very committed to paying tomorrow. However, I have to say with 3/8 of us having a Polish passport we are watching the news carefully. Any escalation may make getting resale tickets the least of our concerns.

I would be keen to know too. We are trying for 2 in the resale. The issue is one of those is the spouse of a member of our group and they are flying in from Poland. She has only been to the UK once before and has never met the other one trying for a ticket. If we do get 2 tickets, but not the same coach/non-coach ticket I was aiming to request swap so she can travel with her spouse. We have a medical reason why it would be ideal for them to travel together but I wasn't expecting it to work tbh.

We need 2 more in the resale (ideally coach) and me, the only one with any experience of seeing past the hoding page, will be mid-atlantic at the time. Anyone got anything good to report about KLM in-flight Wi-Fi? 😅 I got mine in the original coach sale sat in Geneva Airport as my flight was delayed, using mobile internet. I believe getting mid flight is what the ticket gods will reward. If not its a late night and trying to not get too drunk before the 3am sale It's an emotional rollercoater every time.

I came very close to a panic attack in that crowd. I thought I was stood relatively far back to just chill and ended up getting swept along. It was really quite scary. That being said Glastonbury almost always gets it right. I was at the killers secret set at JP and didn't have the same panic at all despite it being busy.

I'd say this is completely dependent on if people have been before or not. I'd guess 80%+ of those who've been before wouldn't mind and would book a ticket anyway. This will be my 4th and although I'm more invested in this forum than my job, I don't NEED the lineup. However, taking a bunch of first timers this year they really want to know who is playing. Most were satisfied by a deep dive into past lineups but we've got 1 trying for the resale who is a little apprehensive.

The problem is they will have to follow the government rules at the time. If a week before the government announced that big events need a test to enter then Glastonbury will have to enforce it. I can see them pre-empting this and asking for a LFT. My group is currently trying to decide between going early and spending the weekend in London to be sure we are in the country, or waiting until the last minute to avoid potential infections over the weekend.

Feeling pretty confident for us We have 3 coming from Switzerland and 2 from Poland. No flights booked yet but only because I'll watch I've had a few other trips to book. I've been getting back and forwards between UK and Switzerland since summer last year pretty easily, with just a few blips with quarantines being introduced. We plan to fly into London the Friday before, in case PCR test results are needed. Fingers crossed things will stay at least at the current state. I can see the festival (government) asking for a lateral flow in 48h before departure but that shouldn't be too hard to organise.

We've got 2 trying and of course are all happy to try for max tickets, as well as for any other groups

Eagles just announced for BST Glastonbury weekend with Little Big Town, Alison Krauss and Robert Plant. I'll not hold out hope for the Eagles but I'd absolutely love LBT in a late afternoon slot!
