Personally think Walice are too big for Other sub now. Actually think we have a habit on here of basing our criteria on who we think is big enough to headline the Other/sub the Pyramid, rather than who ends up doing it. Not saying they'd be a particularly strong booking for either of those positions, but they'd be there on merit.

Going against the grain here but was disappointed with CHVRCHES. Definitely an improvement on the last album but that's not saying much. Strongest points are the lyrics, some of Lauren's best work but the beats, man. Where's the beats? Violent Delights was the only time I felt they broke out of that monotony. Aside from that it all sounds a bit samey and, unforgivebly for a CHVRCHES album, a bit dull.

I know I'm a week late but Pressure Machine really is a bit good eh? I'm a big Springsteen mark, particularly Nebraska, so this is quite literally music to my ears.

There's definitely a noticable drop off in the second half of the album. In general though I'm much less positive, first half is nice enough, second half is a non-event.
