Spent all last weekend out in the rain watching my 6 year old do a 6k run/walk on Saturday morning then he had a football match Saturday afternoon and a football tournament for 4 hours on Sunday afternoon, he loved it whereas I just got soaked watching! It felt like when I was inside or in the car it wasn't raining but as soon as I stepped out it started chucking it down.

So not only do people from Liverpool get the most tickets on ticket-day they win the bloody competitions as well!!!!

Once the first 2 weeks are out of the way, that's the toughest part for me, then it becomes enjoyable again. I definitely need to do more stretching, no excuse in the evenings really when I'm sat watching the TV.

A little late but I got a new sleeping bag and back pack for Christmas for the festival, perfect presents.

Put a few lbs on over the festive period even though I carried on exercising through, nothing too strenuous just kept ticking along. Back in the gym yesterday and felt good on the treadmill so went to do a few sprints and second one in pop goes my hamstring, not a great start to getting back into shape. Will have to change cardio sessions for the next few weeks at least. And damn that cheese that's still in the fridge!

Here we go again then! Had a week off with a chest infection but getting slowly back into it tomorrow with a light session, then plenty of farmers walks leading up to the festival.

Absolutely buzzing to be going again next year, 8th year me and my mate we'll be doing and we've got 3 others joining us, 2 not been for a long time and a newbie. It was stressful again as I got the page of death but finally got in at 9:20. Got in again to try for someone else but it kept crashing when pressing proceed to payment page.

Having a 6 year old and a 2 year old I've still set my alarm in the morning to make sure I'm up and ready!

Hope you've recovered mate. Felt the same when I stopped playing football at a decent level, played Vets for a couple of seasons afterwards but it wasn't quite the same. I don't miss it all now though, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday took so much out of the week and that was before kids. Happy playing a bit of 5 a-side on a Wednesday night now and enjoy taking the 6 year old to training and games. Only yesterday I enrolled to do my first coaching course, I've been reffing junior games for a couple of years and it's nice to stay involved.

Got a great "buddy" through the forum when it comes to ticket day, they have got mine and I've returned the favour as well. They usually go for coach tickets whereas I go for the general sale so it's perfect in helping each other out.

It's going to be a secret sale, now that would make things interesting!

Courteeners are on the Subs pages twice, they are likely to be touring as they've just announced a gig at Heaton Park in June. Also think George Ezra will get quite a high slot next year although he's touring end of this year up to March next.

Loving this, think I'll be returning to it just as many times as the Glastocam in the lead up to next years festival, that's IF the ticket gods are kind.

My phone signal is abysmal where I live so it's just the laptop and Ipad I'll be using. There's a couple more added to our group this year so I'm just collating the info ready for the big day. He was buzzing when the final whistle went, it made it sweeter as the night before he was upset saying he wasn't good enough after he'd had 3 days at football camp. Couldn't quite get out of him what it was but the win was just the pick up he needed and he played great all through the tournament. Grandpa?! I didn't think you were that old to be honest. My old man was there watching as well and he was proud as punch.

With that many passes and wristbands do the people on the main gates get a briefing on all the different ones?

Proud Dad moment, my little lad had his first ever football tournament on Saturday where his team won their group winning all 3 games and then went on to win their semi-final and final both 2-1.
