FYI. We have one of those CredAbility 'access cards' which clearly specifies what requirements a person would need. It took a bit of jumping through hoops, but not a lot ( doctors note etc). But once its been done once, it means you don't have to keep justifying your needs. Access at glastonbury are fantastic.

The one positive we took from catching it at Northern Kin was (well okay, I did, then did what any good husband should do, shared his gift with his beloved....) that we should be fine for the rest of the summer 😕 at least that was 2nd time. first hit my mrs really badly ( from beatherder... pesky festivals 😄 )

ooooh, got there late (coming from avalon and fishermens friends) so can I balance that hate with 'phew' since it meant I missed less 😄

The clouds had appeared , just so they could go at the right time ! Loved it... Helped that it was 'busy' and not 'insane' so was actually able to watch from the pyramid field itself 😄

Ha, saw the story whilst at michealwood, thought 'yaay he's made the bbc again' but was 'surprised' by the bbc comments about 4am..... so not shocked to find its totally false 😄

Bought some decent walking shoes. fixed the mrs hat (redid some flowers, checked the lights work... important stuff). sewed lights into a jacket.... yeah still not finished that .. urgh taking ages 😄 . . We pick the campervan up tomorrow from the garage.. cutting it fine! ( oh and replaced some of the glastonbury booze I drank friday/saturday...)

bruhaha, we've got some fishermans friends, lemon sherbets, fudge and a whole load of after 8 vodka done... twftpu is going to kill me .. oh and ordered some shot glasses...

Its the sheer gall of asking for 400$ 'service' after spending 2000$ on tickets. I suppose the purchaser should actually be 'grateful' its a $4 process fee ( which, lets be honest is a joke anyway). Its way beyond the time governments/authorities should be looking at this..

Oh yeah and "I'm gunna have a bad head tomorrow" The 10th anniversary one (Jaipur X) they did was special.. Its part of why I'll put up with Bearded Theory messing about, that they have the Thornbridge stuff. ( they had a few different breweries as well this year, small popup style, think it was castle rock and vocation?)

Figured I'd say hello , about 10yrs after I first posted. First went 2008 ( the two of us, it was insanely overwhelming!). Met up with people from the forum in 2009 ( over 30's and the old gits). Did reasonably well with tickets after that ( except 2014/dolly 😞 ). But last time was 2019.... failed for 2020 ( and we all know what happened next).. . . To say we're buzzing to be back is the understatement of the decade...

Did their brewery tour a few years back. It was astonishing how much they spent on ingredients, well the hops.. Did put the prices into perspective. Must admit was shocked the problems in the industry spread that far. the lack of "something I'd choose to drink" is my normal excuse ( as well as the cost) for bringing my own booze... normally avalon and acoustic have something ( and the bimble etc ? )... isn't it just the big main stage bars that have the 'meh' drinks ?

Had nothing, until 10:10, then managed to get our group ! Feels weird, because we'd gone thru 'not got them this year'.... We had 8 groups of 6 and a singleton. We got 4 groups.

the "its a workout trying to get the leg bits to fit' style? I used one for a while, was great ( and you can get stuff under). "upgraded" to the aluminium , "it unfolds and folding it back you can trap your fingers" style. For more comfort ( if its cold ) use a self inflating airbag. Best bit for old-gits is you're not on the floor , so easier to get up 😄
