  1. Yes. But I think coach is a maximum of 4 people per booking.
  2. Holding out for a Friday date. Live in Manchester so Wednesday and Thursday make it difficult with work. Judging by how fast Thursday went though I think I’d struggle getting a Friday one even if announced.
  3. Was there too. Really good but we got in quite late and it was insanely crowded. Only space to stand was basically at the bar. Good for getting quick drinks but not a lot of fun otherwise. New songs sounded great and obviously the old ones go off still.
  4. £72 FV but imagine it’s closer to £80 with fees yeah. Quite surprised really. Still not cheap enough for me to cop on regular sale, should hopefully drop cheaper closer to the time.
  5. Loyle Carner would be a vibe
  6. Probs a stupid question but if you have an auto refresh app and get through to the ticket page will it then auto refresh on that page? Or will you manually have to turn it off when you get through?
  7. You don’t have to justify yourself, one of Neil’s more weird takes and there’s been a few. Literally saw a homeless person with an iPhone the other week (no judgment or anything, everyone needs a way to communicate) probably not salt of the earth enough though.
  8. Well I mean everyone on there is in agreement that people shouldn't boo. People (like me) who don't want to observe the minute silence have said they'll be staying the concourse.
  9. Highly doubt it. Maybe you’ll get Funeral in full though.
  10. Haha yeah I wouldn't personally advocate for them there, would be a wild booking. Maybe I need to give them another try, I did give ACOE a good go and enjoyed a few but besides AHIYH I just couldn't really get into the latest one. So I've not been following properly but is it pretty much expected that it'll be at least 2 Metallica sets and then probably BMTH and then someone unsure of, Slipknot, GNR, etc?
  11. Sorry I was just trying to wind you up with the last post, I didn’t think you’d take the bait. Will say I’ve probably slightly overestimated Download’s willingness to book more indie-ish acts, as I saw Frank Turner and Twin Atlantic had played recently but I assume that was just due to the pilot. As I said I don’t think they’d ever actually book Foals but thought there was scope there for more bands of that ilk, mainly hypothetically under that Muse day. This is all a bit much for a flippant ‘why not’ comment and a lazy dig at Biffy. For the record it’s only the last two albums that have really put me off, seeing the latest album in full live pretty much killed it for me sadly.
  12. I don’t think they would ever play it but if you’re gonna get utter crap like current Biffy playing it then why not get bands like Foals. As I said, I don’t think they would and it’s an out there prediction as the original poster said but there’s obviously a comparison to be made there. Both big British indie artists with roots in heavier styles, obviously Biffy lean towards the heavier side and are traditionally more Download but they’re not that dissimilar.
  13. If Biffy can headline it (and avoid their first three albums) then sure, why not
  14. No need for you to come to England for Glastonbury with your apple and water then boss
  15. Well no mate because I don’t live in North America, don’t go to gigs in North America and frankly, with the amount you wang on about it, I couldn’t care less about what goes on in North America.
  16. If you read the whole post (I presume you're willingly ignoring it) you'd see he meant £250-£300 for Golden Circle/VIP tickets to guarantee a good spot for her. Regular tickets obviously won't cost near that much.
  17. So in summary your criticism comes down to 'the vibes ain't right'
  18. They'll have a contract too. I don't imagine it's easy to just back out of a contract on a big tour like this. Their crew will be relying on funds from this tour as well so I do have sympathy for them.
  19. Thought Vortex was amazing tbh, like it on record but goes to a different level live. Everyone around me was loving it. Not a great lover of Ghosteen Speaks, would have liked to have seen Henry Lee and Jack the Ripper in there but overall it was an amazing gig, one of my favourites of the year.
  20. I’d say switch to Chrome anyway, much faster

    Lorde

Excellent in Manchester last night. A little slow in the first half, some of the new tunes just don’t land all that well. She also just sort of rambles in between songs too. Second half was excellent, pretty much non stop bangers, even the Solar Power ones come across well such as Mood Ring. Probably see her again at Glasto, definitely worth catching if you’re undecided
  22. Can you point to a ‘brainless’ post that the Wonderwhy has done? Coming across as very ‘old man yells at cloud’ here
  23. Slanderous. Only land I wazz on is Rodney Parade
