Shiiine On Weekender

Is anyone else going to this? A baggy-orientated indie weekender with Happy Mondays, Wonderstuff and Inspiral Carpets headlining, held at the Butlins in Minehead. There's about 20 of us going staying in three chalets and despite/because of our advancing years (late-30s), I can't help thinking it's going to be carnage!

I like the Saturday and thought about going to this but going on holiday to US instead! 

 

I am going to Butlins Minehead next month though on a different music weekend, a 90's pop bollocks one but its a stag do, so aint really about whos playing more a laugh.

Would of loved to have gone to this, never can get people interested in this type of fest unfortunately.

Would have definitely gone but my baby is due 2 weeks before so got sod all chance! Shame, cracking line up.

Looking forward to this one greatly. It was only £145 each for the accommodation and the bands. I reckon it's going to be full of people who probably haven't been let off the leash for a while and it will get a bit messy! For instance, Bez is hosting a pool party on Saturday lunchtime, which sounds particularly dangerous (I'd be surprised if he's got all his badges, to be honest).

Cant bloody wait, i'm off to Reading first but this is the big one. The lineup is improving by the week. Slightly worried about clashes as there are five stages i think, but music til 4am. Gonna Die.
