The thing about not mentioning anything because it turns up on the internet in ten seconds must be because of his encounter with rawaudioinput.

But yeah, doesn't seem to give much away. Good read though.

Interesting he mentions Justin Timberlake's live show and stuff - with him playing a one-off London date in June three months after the initial UK tour, and a few days before Isle of Wight festival.

Fair play the acts they get are good but I can't think of any act that would ever tempt me back to the IoW. I now use it as a case study in Event Planning Training Courses on how not to organise a piss up in a brewery.

Depends on whether you mind getting your car wrecked by having it towed out by 4x4 'enthusiasts' brought in because of inadequate plans to deal with the mud.

It was so muddy they had to tow vehicles in at the start of the festival and from then on it just got worse.

Or that they couldn't empty some of the turdises for three days because it was too wet to get the pumps in. Piles of shit a foot high in each one.

Or that to get from our camping area onto the site each day the only way in was to wade through a pond that was over a foot deep in water.

That the organisers had no contingency plans for rain "because it hasn't rained for the last few festivals."

Or that a lot of the stewards didn't even know their way round the site and were unable to give directions or answer basic questions.

But don't start me on the catalogue of calamaties and cock ups and the horrors of corporate festivals........
