Know what you mean about the first series, the first one I thought tony was a prick!!

Well hopefully it will get better (although the is no hope for tony becoming less of a prick)

i hate skins, and i cant really put my finger on the reason why....

maybe its the fact that they're all too pretty, or that teenage friendships arent really like that....

possibly that they have these stupid long monologues and speeches to each other, which makes me feel that i didnt live my life to the full like they did....

I think it was Stewart Lee who did a bit on Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe saying just that - that its a very unrealistic portrayal of teen life, and it makes the viewer feel bad about not doing all that kind of stuff.

Just watched the first episode tonight and am confused about this accident that Tony had...when did it happen?I thought the first series finished with Tony trying to get his sister back from those nutters?

he got hit by a bus or something and then it went to a cringeworthy tragic musical montage with sid mouthing along if i remember rightly. god skins is a bit shit isn't it, i'll give it a few more episodes before i give up on it.

Anyone watch it tonight? Its just starting to get strange now, although you cant fault a programme where Shayne Ritchie gets banged up.
