Cena killed that promo last night, very impressed.

Thought the show was veey poorly booked overall though, Triple H and Taker was good but Sheamus comes out after and gets squashed by sexual chocolate  No interaction from Triple H. Cole going too far [Not his fault but the writers] and the tag titles changing twice.

As much as I hate The Miz, I want him to go over Cena at mania but I highly doubt that will be happening.

Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan for US Title should be good.

Cena's winning at Mania.

I was made aware today that this will be Cena's SEVENTH straight World Title match at Wrestlemania

21 v JBL

22 v Hunter

23 v HBK

24 v Hunter and Orton

25 v Edge and Big Show

26 v Big Dave

27 vs The Miz.

In contrast Austin was in just three world title matches at Wrestlemania (14, 15 and 17) Rock was 3 (15, 16, 17), Hunter has been in eight (16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25), and Hogan has been in just six (2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9- although he was the main draw at 1, 4, 8, 18 and arguably 19).

Austin, Rock and Hogan have records which speak for themselves. Hunter has the most political power of anyone in history plus he was the best heel (probably) around and was on the losing end at 20, 21, 22, and 24. Cena has lost once (24, when he was pissed by Orton after a Pedigree from Hunter) and is winning again this year, for what will inevitably be another long, boring, meandering run with the title.

And they wonder why nobody watches or pays for this shit anymore?

i havent watched wrestling in a long long time but the wierdest thing happened the other night... im working at a petrol station and at about 2 or 3 in the morning a minibus pulls up and loads of massive dudes get off and walk in, i start chatting but then i see a familiar face and just shut up haha - i get really bad celeb fright even at the most minor celebrities haha - anyway gangrel follows them, anybody remember him? i asked what he was doing in england (american accent) then he said he was working and i said wrestling? and he said yeah and that was it, i served him his doughnut and he was on his way - one of the wierdest moments of my life... he didnt look in great shape...

kinda wish i made a better attempt at conversation but i just cant seem to handle talking to people ive seen on tv haha

i remember him hanging big boss man at wrestlemania...

I agree, the main roster is looking alright, but some of those in downloadable content should be in the roster from the beginning, the WWE games have been selling for cheaper lately, I wonder if they've been doing this because they're making money from the downloadable content?

In other news, reading about Sting winning the title, he's the 4th oldest person to win the World title ever, at 51 and 11 months old, I had no idea that he was that old! Insane, thought he was about 45, the guy looks in great shape. Can't remember the other but one is Funk at 53, Flair was 51 but younger than 51 and 11 months and Hogan was 48.

not too sure about that game. definitely won't be buying early if the price drop of the legends game is anything to go by.

downloadable content isn't really screaming out to me. big bossman and ted debiase are the only two i'd care about. but not enough to pay that sort of cash.

and you can tell i'm out of touch with the current roster when i've barely seen some of them. who the hell are drew mcintyre and jack swagger? and has shawn michaels retired or are they just using and old version of him? same with undertaker if paul bearer is in the game.

Swagger & McIntyre are both on Smackdown, that might be why. McIntyre is from Ayr, and was really boring for months, and then amazing in the Elimination Chamber last week. He's come on leaps & bounds, is getting used around the SD main event.

Swagger's been around for a couple of years now. Had a really good few matches with Christian for the ECW title, won a MITB match last summer & was champion for about 3 weeks before Rey owned him in a fued. Had the BURRIEZ for a few months, had a stupid eagle mascot, but looks to be recovering.

Just read Raw results, it sounds like the best Raw I can remember in recent history.

Really liking the build to Mania, looks like its gunna be a damn good show. Cole v Lawler even sounds interesting, but I hope Swagger gets a match on the show as well! Wonder who the special ref will be?

Continuing my rant from the next gen consoles thread, why exactly is a quarter of the roster downloadable content before the game is even released, complete joke. I wont buy it but feel sorry for the people getting mugged out of paying £15 more than they would have five years ago for the same product.

    • New Overmono album is... just good for me. Had high hopes which were later dashed a bit after listening to some of the singles but they brought me back around enough to appreciate some very nice work in there. https://music.apple.com/ie/album/pure-devotion/1894298100
    • I don't really worry about headliners (unless there's a real possibility of a once-in-a-lifetime artist landing for it) but I'm starting to feel a bit cold on the names floating around bar Fontaines.  Harry Styles and Sam Fender, I can see the value and commercially speaking, they've earned it.  Sabrina Carpenter is obviously popular enough to do it - but after she's headlined everywhere else and done Coachella earlier this year, is it not just a bit predictable to follow what other festivals have done?
    • Bollocks to “safe” headliners, bollocks to the masses. Get interesting, get risky, challenge people.
    • The Cure would be a dream, I can definitely see them doing a second run of festivals they may have missed this year and they seem the definitive Latitude act  If they do festivals next year maybe The Strokes could be a shout? Im stunned either them or Kings of Leon haven't played yet This is a great shout for names, youre right that CMAT is taking a year out though - we're like to know more in the autumn when festivals start making announcements  The only other act I'd really love to see is Idles headline the tent
