That pic is ace ha ha

I miss Mourinho, wish he was back in the Premier League

EDIT to say Trish, guest host next week, THAT, I might watch

EDIT 2 - UK Raw guest host? Ricky Hatton is a good shout, im sure theres other UK celebrity fans out there, if they use a wrestler Id be gutted, Hatton would be a top choice, Over the years Ive seen at the shows in person Andy Gray and Shane Richie, im sure theres others too, neither of those would work for the US audience though

Just saw this news, madness,

this is what I read

According to an article on ThePilot.com, former WWE star Jeff Hardy was arrested for “trafficking in controlled prescription pills and possession of anabolic steroids,” and is currently in Moore County jail.

The report claims Hardy was arrested after a search of his residence revealed he was in possession of 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a “residual amount of powder cocaine” and drug paraphernalia items. The report notes that “Vicodin and anabolic steriods are Schedule III substances”, while Soma is a non-controlled prescription pill.

The search was part of a joint investigation conducted by the Moore County Sheriff’s Office narcotics and select enforcement units and the Fayetteville Police Department

-------------------

– Jeff Hardy had the following to say on his Twitter regarding news of his arrest this afternoon: “Alot of exaggerations are out there today, don’t believe everything you read 4 it is not true, I am at home and fine-thanks for your concern” Hardy’s only official Twitter page is twitter.com/jeffhardybrand.

– Deputy Neil Godfrey of the Moore County Sheriff’s Department in Cartage, North Carolina confirmed in a press release that former WWE star Jeff Hardy was indeed arrested today (Friday) on a number of drug-related charges. Godfrey also stated that Jeff Hardy was bailed out this afternoon “by his brother” and was free on bail. However, Jeff Hardy contradicts the report on his Twitter, saying:

“For the record, Matt didn’t bail me out, loan me money, or is his name on anything.. He’s just learning about today’s situation..”

– The estimated street value of the drugs that got Hardy arrested is $2,500. To recap the situation, Jeff Hardy is being charged with a total of five (5) felonies: Felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

------------------------

- According to The Fayetteville Observer, Jeff Hardy’s arrest yesterday came from a tip given to the Fayetteville, NC police department several days ago.

Chief Deputy Neil Godfry says that a subsequent investigation led to a search warrant of Hardy’s home and that’s when they found the drugs and arrested Hardy.

Hardy’s arrest is being picked up by most major media outlets and there’s a buzz here in North Carolina.

----------------

- Several current WWE Superstars have posted thoughts on Jeff Hardy’s arrest on Twitter. Below are comments:

Chavo Guerrero: “Hey guys, just heard about jeff Hardy. Don’t know details yet but i want to give my support. Jeff is a classy person and also have his back!”

Chris Jericho: “Don’t think of judging Jeff Hardy until you’ve walked a mile in his shoes. I will always have Jeffs back…”

Matt Hardy: “Thanks for the support on SD tonight-I know I’m not 100% yet, but I promise you I’ll get there. And remember, innocent until proven guilty… It’s been a long, stressful day for me.. But, everything will be ok.. Guaranteed. Like Public Enemy said “Don’t Believe The Hype!”"

----------------

hmmm, basically I believe that he was arrested and Jeff is trying desperatly to cover it up. The guy is f**ked and he needs to go to rehab if he has that many pills and is still using them, can't see him back in WWE for a long time

This show sucks.

Well, it did until Pat Patterson came out and cut a promo.

Cena gets booed out of the building. Moreso than usual.

Ok, I dont want to go off about ring psychlogy or anything, but this is a f**king I Quit match, supposed to be brutal as the feud is so heated. So Cena warms up in the ring, Orton just watches him and Lillian does the introduction. Does anyone remember Rock and Mankind doing this when they had an I Quit match?

Thought not.

Breaking Point was a snorefest then. Cheap end to it all too.

I'm as bored of DX as anyone, but I thought their match against Legacy was the best of the night.

Second PPV in a row now without a divas match. WWE really don't give a shit, do they.

Put on Raw because I couldn't sleep. First person out Batista... zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Edit:...Wait... did I just hear him retire?! Awesome (not for him obviously, but for the viewer)

If Cena could follow his lead (or just turn heel ffs) Raw might become watchable again.

2nd edit: Goddammit it was a bluff! f**k off Batista! No one gives a shit you're going to ruin Smackdown B)

Lawler: The animal will be unleashed tonight

Lithium05: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

3rd edit: Wow Trish looks different as a brunette, I'm awake again! :)

Hogan's Hulkamania tour of Australia will be headlined by Hulk Hogan v Ric Flair

Im not surprised in the slightest Flair can't stay retired, if this tour comes here Id go, looks a fun roster, others confirmed are DDP, Umaga, Mr Kennedy, Val Venis, The Godfather, Shannon Moore and Kerry Von Eric - Texas Tornado's daughter Lacey Von Eric, also saying Hogans mates The Nasty Boys and Beefcake will obviously be on board also

Im betting this tour will do a European tour if this does well in Oz

    • What is too old for Leeds Fest now ?  I'm going to the Fontaines Saturday in a few weeks at 54 !!!  I may be the oldest there 🙂    Wythenshawe may be an option for WA.
    • Pretty much all festivals lose out on major artists because of production limitations though. Glastonbury is no different to most other festivals.  Lots of acts can/will adapt their tour production to suit festival stages if they want to play them, but some acts with stage designs and routines just don't want to adapt, and would rather just stick with a rigid, well-rehearsed production and take the money for their own gigs, whether that's a lot more than playing Glastonbury, or slightly less than playing some other festivals (but with added complications). Trying to adapt the stage, layout, access to b-stages etc to accommodate a single headliner on a Friday and then having to change it all around for a Saturday headliner isn't really a goer when most headliners can just easily adapt their show to stay on a main stage, if they're so inclined. They have a year to figure out how to perform a song on a main stage and ditch a few dance routines out on a b-stage if they really put their mind to it. It's not that difficult......
    • I would be all over Wolf Alice but may have outgrown this venue.    Also have to consider the schedule they have been on this year so may be on a break.  This last 10 days alone they did Tramlines, New York, Chicago and Kendal Calling.  Although make hay while the sun shines may come into play.
