That bit where Cartman sings Poker Face made me cringe a bit, it reminded me of those cheap laughs in something crap like Madagascar where the animals start singing "I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT!". I dunno, I just thought South Park was better than that kind of thing, it's never had to pull that crap before.

It'd have been just as funny if he were singing any other song. The complexity of the lyrics and vocal structure made it funny, not just that he was singing that particular song

For anyone who wants to know what the reporter calling the biker a fag a few times was a parody of, it comes from an incident on ESPN in America when a doyle presenter called Jim Rome had nicknamed an NFL Quarterback called Jim Everett 'Chris Everett' after the female tennis player in the 90's. This is because he was meant to shy out of tackles.
