You will note the appearance of my campervan of rock in that vid. Ironically that song will be making a noticable appearance in my campervan come Wednesday through Monday.

You're a leeds goer aren't you? I'm trying to find more peeps in the Reading campervan field. I did almost nothing at work today, just talked to people about Reading until the boss noticed. don't know how I'll get through monday tuesday and wednesday. :-S hope paris rocks then hope leeds rocks. arggghh it's so great! the best weekend of the year is nearly here!

I'm ridin' that sentiment all the way baby. However, I'm off to a Dutch fest tomorrow and don't get back till Wednesday so I have no Monday to Wednesday anticipation period.

Paris is on Sept 11th (a key date to be mentioned by Pearl Jam I'm sure). I'm hitting Leeds fella otherwise it would be a early 90's Indie V Grunge campervan shoot out for sure bud.

Nah, it's a beer fest. A national Dutch holiday but they have a small town that just goes nuts (nuts in the Dutch way, not British). Mushrooms are legal one minute and not the next. I shall enjoy bud, and the same for you mate - and try to catch a few PJ songs after Soulwax mate, they are bute live.

Goedenacht.

    • They are going to have Blink 182 for sure, early June upto around Werchter weekend I'd say for them. Two of Sweden Rock,  Greenfield and RFP are going to miss out.
    • I've come across a few this weekend saying Deftones aren't big enough for Download.   I would recommend b&b hotel hbf the night before....cheap, comfortable and very decent. Within 10 minutes from the station and a tram stop outside to jump on...all travel is free during the festival time as well with a kombi. Lidl is very good and cheap I can't lie....€6 for a chair with carey handle, €20 with a bag too...you can work that out yourself.   If you camp, get up at 5am and go to the queue....literally don't question it as now I know.     The travel wise part is easy when you get the hang of it and I've never had an easier exit from a festival today tbh. We were camped in the turn left section but past the registration and to get water you have to come right out.   Opening up an exit through he camp at least by Friday morning when everyobe is there would be much better but you csnt walk through general if you're green and sonon.   I think the issue for me probably too is I have never taken like a mutliple litre water too, I've always done a 6 pack water from like poundland lol but you definitely need it. I had one shower that was cold lol   Talking of getting into the front, Volbeat was the only easy one, for Maiden and especially Linkin Park if you weren't in the queue for it by at least the last quarter ot Architects you had no hope....it was shocking. I do like orbit to sit down. I had to decide to sack off Within Temptation too or no chance.   Second stage biggest gripe is the faff of walking all the way round when VIP or whatever it is literally get access to each bit. I did read tbh before going people though RIP/Ring was turning too much the wrong way.   Also as a side note, caught some of Limp Bizkit last night too and they are not headliner but any distance at all. Yes they pull a crowd...they would do with LP finished but on the grand scale its a super weak booking. Stop, start for video recordings all the way through a headline set?, 1hr 15 minutes and you can't play for that time. I'm so glad they were not chosen to headline main.   On another thing, if RIP played it right they'll get GC and Avril to sub/second stage headline on the Blink day.   Toilets and cleanliness is a big plus I will say that.
    • Any of the likes of Keo, Basht. and Cardinals could all fit in here.  Although they’re the sort of bands that could fit many of the stages at Glastonbury
    • Glasto loves a come back act - how about the Rapture?
    • Yeah mentioned in the park thread but feel more Woodsies to me
