Got a look at the Pearl Jam tickets when I arrived at Paula's on friday night...and how excited was I?!

Seeing them twice in the space of a couple of weeks is going to be the best live musical experience of my life without question..!

Anyone who had never heard Pearl Jam but decided to check them out due to this thread would, in my opinion, fast come to the conclusion that they are extremely overrated! It's 9 million pages of people saying how the sun does in fact shine out of Eddie Vedder's arse, when in fact they just aren't that great anymore!

I don't say that.

Many informative and expressionary posts will always occur. It's 'trolls' and the like that come in to react to this praising that I find generally gets things going.

This isn't a journalist forum, so you will always get some bias hailing and reaction. If it was in a music magazine then it could certainly be considered hype, but it isn't.
