This is great thank you so much, so there's never really any issues for camping spots regardless of when you arrive? And are there any areas to avoid (apart from near the toilets lol)?

Me personally i would avoid black dog campsite if you want to get any sleep

To everyone that is going to YNot, I hope you have an amazing time!!!!

I have a list of bands to see as long as my arm including Lilacs, Slates, Rosadocs, Lottery Winners, Spyres, Snuts, Royston Club and some classic 90s Indie from Ash, Sleeper and Inspirals.

Should be a cracking weekend!!!!

Get Reverend and the Maker's on the list. Must see for me.

Not too fussed by the headliners on main stage this year, but think there are some good options on the other stages.

Have a good time!

Rev was average at best at Tramlines but Jon has broken two ribs so think that hampered the performance.

It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂

The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.

I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!

Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!

Interesting to read. It's mostly why we stopped going a few years back even though it's the nearest big festival to home.

The post-exams timing and location makes it a rites of passage first festival for people in a big area. Understandably that leads to a bit of giddiness. Think lineup would need to be a lot more my cup of tea to be enticed back.

Friends who are there are having a good time tho and no rain is a good thing for up there.
