Any early rumours for Tramlines 2025? Who would you all like to see?

My ideal headliner would be Gerry Cinnamon.  After seeing Blossoms recently think they are ready to step up to Headliner level - certainly a step up from Paulo Nutini and Jamie T this year. 

 

Would like to see Wolf Alice on the bill and also Fontaines DC but think their stock will be too high for Tramlines.

 

On the undercard would like to see Red Rum Club, The K's, Inhaler, Shed Seven and Ocean Colour Scene a the Heritage acts, Royston Club and Rianne Downey.

 

Maybe someone like Rick Astley or Girls Aloud for the Sunday Headliners, although at a wedding that day so hopefully a bad line up 😁

Great choice. I personally wouldn’t mind Inspiral Carpets. They were at Latitude Festival this year, great band.

agree on Blossoms - they've already headlined Truck, Y Not and Kendal Calling, and after Wythenshawe Park the other week I absolutely think they should bring Gary to Tramlines - would also be very happy with many of the other names you mentioned. I'd personally love for CMAT to make an appearance too, probably not headliner but she could absolutely get a decently high slot.

I'd love to see Inspiral Carpets too, along with a mix of the newer acts like Inhaler would make for a fantastic lineup.

They were fantastic at Lytham, would make a great festival act. Inhaler would be great too - wouldn’t be surprised to see Catfish

Definitely get Gary on stage.  The Wythenshawe gig was fantastic.

They did Kite with Suede in 23, so definitely a possibility for this size of festival, and touring this autumn.

Reytons will be back next year, would imagine they'll be quite high up the list after their Clifton Park gig this year.

 

Agree on Blossoms, could definitely see them headlining the Friday.

Franz Ferdinand have announced a new album and tour, with only 2 UK dates - wouldn't be surprised if they do a run of festivals next year, Tramlines included.

Please not Franz Ferdinand. Crowd would be dead silent till the end when they play Take Me Out. 

 

Dunno how the indie landfill acts get such a bad rep on this place but the like Franz get a pass.

I can see Franz Ferdinand being a sub on most superstruct festivals this year, its not a bad shout despite the lulls, it happens with a lot of acts at that level though. I would feel short changed if headlining though

Think Reytons are nailed on unfortunately for Tramlines.  They released their 2025 Tour yesterday with no South Yorkshire dates.

First Rock N Roll Circus 2025 lineup announced - presumably means Reverend and the Makers won't be at Tramlines, but possibly also could mean there's no Everly Pregnant Brothers at Tramlines 2025??? https://www.instagram.com/p/DAbMKhCif0l/

Pretty sure the Brothers will be at Tramlines, but Rev not. Crossover between Tramlines and RnR for lower billed local acts was pretty big this year.

I missed this earlier in the year, but I wonder whether we'll see any notable changes, for better or worse, at Superstruct festivals for 2025, given the new ownership?

First year since pre-COVID we've not bought tickets during the early bird sale. Very curious to see the lineup as it's the first time in a while I need to be sold on the festival rather than being committed already.

We've done the same this year. Last year was a big disappointment on the headline front, and especially Saturday all day. Keeping options open across a wider range of mid-tier festivals, despite this one being very local.
