Website has a countdown for "huge news" this Friday at 10:30am, any last minute predictions, guesses or wishful thinking before then? Are we thinking it's gunna be a classic style lineup drop, those were always about this time right?

 

The vibe shift has got me hungry for some big names again - Underworld, Orbital, proper Pendulum, Prodigy?? get Carl Cox on this big new techno stage! Sally C, Mall Grab, Tommy Holohan would go down a treat too. I could go on..

Yeah, "Lions Gate" (still where Origin was, moving to Lions Den bowl next yr), new big techno stage Hydro replacing Zenith, Old Town moving up the hill - has all been announced already

 

Wonka's previously announced on their instagram that the Psy Forest site is back as a dnb venue with a couple of big brand takeovers, their post today has it as the background too - so maybe this is that? not sure I'd call that huge but I guess we'll see, new comms guy seems to like his hyperbole 🤓

Caught a bit of Wonka on swu from the other day, mentions they're doing "two stages a week up until April" when taking about lineups. so more of those posters hopefully? maybe a proper look at Lions Gate/Hydro?

 

Not sure when that's meant to start though, don't districts usually kickoff in March?

In the swing of things now, 3 down, 9 to go? Building a pretty decent list of people I want to see but feeling a little like there's some punch missing, and a growing fear that Rudimental are the big closing act for Lions Gate. (Some of the bookings this year are a little eyebrow raising..)

 

Seems that first wave was actually the top billing after all too, do we think they're holding some things back or these are complete? (other than shy fx)

Not long till the build starts now! @mr flow any post-glasto gossip?

 

Quite a bit of the usual speculation on reddit/fb about yet-to-be revealed acts, secret headliners, Banks replacement, etc. Luke seemed genuinely moved by Kneecap at glasto so wonder if that's something they're trying to do too.

 

Know they've said "full lineups" on the poster releases and some people are never satisfied haha, but with the change in lineup policy and bicep last year I guess nobody knows what to expect? and with the capacity bump they've got the cash

 

...also the plans I've seen include a helipad? is that always there??

Not heard any gossip im afraid. Kneecap are in Scandinavia all over BT weekend so they definitely aren’t playing
