Getting from Bristol Airport to the festival on Friday

Hi everyone!

We're 12 mates coming from Spain for our very first Glasto and we're as excited about the festival as we are concerned about the logistical issues 😄 

The last of our group to arrive is landing at Bristol Airport at 3:50 PM on Friday and we're having real trouble finding coaches/trains/whatever for him to get to the festival site.

Does anyone of you have experiences arriving this late to the festival via the airport? Any advice will be dearly appreciated!!

A taxi is likely to cost around £60.

theres a shuttle from Bristol temple meads ..... but obviously need to get there from the airport . that should be fairly easy with buses outside

More like £90 I'm afraid.  

We paid that last year on the Wednesday evening.

Thanks - I was basing my estimate on 2019 costs so not surprised it's way more now.

Uber should be about £60 to Bath and West where you can get a shuttle from.  Or you can get the regular bus from the airport to Temple Meads station and the shuttle from there, which is cheaper, but slower.

Great, guys! Thanks a lot for the info!!

I think the Uber option will probably have the best value for money, and my friend would make it to see his favourite band: The Churnups!

The taxi will have to drop them at the Bath & West showground (the official drop off location) then a free shuttle bus to Pedestrian Gate A

Flying in myself at 6pm to Bristol. If theres room i could jump in the taxi and lower costs, if not thats fine just gonna be expensive to travel myself to the festival. Enjoy
