Blue Route Preffered

Hey, just been reading the arrival/parking info online and it says use blue route if you can.

But looking at the route it only appears to take you to blue 13 or campervan fields. Anyone tried this route before and can advise?

It will take you up the light blue car park route.  I arrived about 6am last year and was parked in 8 or 9.

Found by trial and error it's best to take the route which gives parking nearest to where you wish to camp. It's a long trek across the site east to west or vice versa to a camping spot.

Definitely park on the side you want to camp on.
There is nothing worse than parking up and having to trek across to the other side of the site when you don’t have to.  Every entrance/exit will have queues regardless of where you come from.

Yeah aiming to camp row mead, was just curious if the blue route would get you a spot closer to the gate

I’ve done both orange and purple car parks and both can be a trek depending where you end up getting parked. 
 

For row mead I personally would enter from the east.
