Hi-fi advice

Guys, I'm getting back into vinyl and have got an entry level technical turntable which I've plugged into my soundbar. Its fine but the new fangled mono sound does leave a little to be desired so I think I need to Invest in an amp and speakers. Some cheap amps on amazon around the £60 mark but would that really be any good or can you guys recommend something to me?

Not sure if anything new for £60 would be that great. I've read a lot of people recommending getting 2nd hand or reconditioned if you're on a budget, may be worth looking into.
