Is it not that the one way system only comes into play at night? You can access from both points during the day.

Great point, although a change was mentioned on the glasto cast podcast so maybe another entrance to the queue is likely

The crew map posted on the crew map thread shows directional arrows meaning almost certainly it is as you were, unless you have a disability/access wristband

Yeah this has always been the case. Also on ‘quiet’ nights or when it dies down really late on if I remember correctly
