Friend Chicken
We will be leaving California for the UK on 18 June, about 9 days before the festival. Should we choose Box Office Collection or international post? We will be traveling around England for about a week before arriving at Glasto via National Express coach. Is the box office by the coach drop off? Are the queues on Wednesday large? The Glasto website says "It is expected that you will receive your tickets at least 14 days before the Festival starts" (still cutting it a bit close) but also "If it is likely you will set off for the Festival more than 28 days before the event commences, please select the option for ‘Box Office Collection’ when paying your ticket balance." It sounds like we could receive our tickets in late May but still not sure I want to travel around England for a week with them.
BambooShanks
I think box office collection is the way to go. At least you know that the tickets will be there, rather than stressing over if they'll turn up in time and the risk you may lose your tickets on your travels. I am certain there's a box office by the coach drop off. It just doesn't make sense for there not to be. As for the queues - the queue for the box office shouldn't be that bad but the queue to get in? That can be anywhere from easy and free flowing, to an hour of shuffling with your bags. Hope that clears things up!
incident
Yeah, the main Box Office is just outside Gate A, right next to the Coach Station so if you're arriving via National Express it's exactly where you'd need it.
herzzreh
FWIW, I've always received my tickets by late May or early June, both in New York and in Charleston. Since we always park at Ashcombe, trek to the box office would've sucked.

It's all worth it though.
