Arrived on site at about 3pm - ground good to the point of roads were dusty. Dry up until 9pm. Seem to be v strict on searches - all staff coming on to site are been searched - don't think this has happened before. 

The appear to have slightly altered routes in to the festival but much better sign are then I have ever seen before.

Searching staff was always gonna happen after last year .

It's is raining...but last year all our vehicles had to be pulled on to site so starting from a much better position this year!

So we expecting searches going in to be over the top? 

Never been to kendal and always compare other festivals to going in to Glastonbury.

It rained heavily overnight but has been dry all day....ground still good. 

The police and their dogs are stationed at the main gate ..... I'm guessing they will be searching people - how heavily I don't know.
