They will be doing Silver Hayes for their 8hour(might be more) silent disco and from what I've heard it will be Chameleon and Kazbar. I'll drop a text to my old boss for definitive confirmation of the where's and when!

Anyone in attendance last year for the Kevin from American pie surprise DJ set on the Saturday night!

I was! I thought it was on the Thursday night though, although i was very much worse for wear and remember it took about 40 minutes in the morning to describe who he was to the other guys in the group.

Perhaps he turned up on a few nights, was definitely the Saturday I was in there after Kanye.

Prefer Casbah in the daytime but quieter at night.. Vice versa really suppose chameleon is more the night place with propaganda on.

have to admit it was one of my more unusual glastonbury moments...

it was really early in the morning (the sun was rising, maybe 5ish) when he came out, was it a similar time on saturday?

Noo was much earlier on the Saturday perhaps around 12-30. Such a strange guest DJ choice.

Do they still have that annoying bloke who just jumps up and down with one arm in the air like some sort of indie landfill Bez?

He was there last year trying to hype everyone up on "everyone's favourite noughties tune" Mr Bloody Brightside.

Pretty sure he was there most nights. Walked past on Friday aso they were announcing him which I thought was funny. Ended up there Saturday after the S.E corner and he was there again!

He tried to play one of his own songs at one point, cleared the dance floor in seconds

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
