Ticket question??

Hi All,

Sadly I wasn't successful on ticket day and was wondering wether any knew if I bought a camper van ticket next week there would be a chance for me to to get tickets in the resales before the refund cut off as I don't want to shell out £100 and not use it ???:(

You need to have a festival ticket to be able to buy campervan tickets I'm afraid, sorry

Slightly unrelated  (but didn't want to start a new thread) do worthy view and campervan  options need to be paid up in full on Thursday or is it done on a deposit like standard ticket sales

Pretty sure this is the only opportunity to buy a camper ticket. I've had to resort to ebay before, but not sure that will be possible this year with addresses on the ticket.

Can I get a ticket for a campervan with my confirmed ticket   and give it to someone who has not yet got a main festival ticket hoping that they will be successful in the resale ? I fear I already know the answer but this will be the only way they will be attending as they arent keen on the camping with the masses thing

should be ok, it might we worth travelling with them so the ticket purchaser is present at the gates with the van, i cant see how they could stop that

If understanding correctly, one of the persons arriving in a campervan now has to have a festival ticket and campervan ticket bearing the same registration details...

will they let more people in than spaces in the van ? have done many Glastos but none with campers , so presume I will be able to get out and and home and back again the next day ? if I remember the campervans fields open tue ? I only live 30 or so miles away in Taunton so getting back so I am able to drive some friends down on the wed is possible ?

Yes they won't care who's in the van if you've all got festival tickets, I think whoever buys the campervan ticket should be present at least on arrival though

We're in the same boat,we just don't know how it's going to pan out,hopefully there will be a few in the resale

I'm sure there will be genuine people who get their friends to take camper up and arrive later. A work commitment I expect.

I can see why Glastonbury have tried to do it, but I can see genuine problems with this idea.

I'm sure CV tickets will be very limited in the resale, but my plan is to get a friend with a ticket to buy one, then all I need to do (If I get a ticket in the resale) is get them to drive in with me.
