I've just been looking at pictures of Queen's Square - who ever thought putting a road through that was a good idea?!?

looks like a great spot for it though. it if really is all commercial around it then they might not be too crippled soundwise. love to know what they're being allowed

Queens Square is used for a fair bit of music and other entertainment stuff already, so it''s not really that unusual for Brizzle.

I'm guessing they'll be allowed music till 11-ish, tho perhaps a little later if done the same as at Glasto.

It does look a great spot surrounded by the buildings then the water and all. Yeah they've said to me about their timing limits - wanted to be able to do the landing AND metamorphosis shows but no such luck

Thought it was great this year, wasn't feeling George Clinton on the night and I had missed the start so decided to catch the main show and wow , just amazing :D Hoping to have a new job in time to afford to go to the Bristol show :P

Sound issues were sorted for me, didn't camp in the "Arcadia camp" but that looked like a really good idea to!

Sadly not, had to sell my ticket. Did a weekend in Glastonbury the weekend before last; Notting Hill last weekend; Bestival next weekend; and fly to Italy day after. Something had to give - and sadly that was my Arcadia ticket (I live in London)!

There were some very excited sounding tweets last night from people who watched the rehearsal.

They seem to have a new trick - a ring of smaller but still large jets. I hope it's not fully replaced the huge blasts, but might be a more city-friendly option. Might not be there but very excited for them anyway

The good thing is they restored it probably back to a better condition than before they put a road through the middle.

There is still a huge WW2 shelter under it as well.

I thought Orbital @ Arcadia in 2011 was the absolute nuts. It's completely ruined by where it is now..
