Slaves, Hell stage 2am ish

Anyone there for it, think there was some trouble nr the front of the stage and the band stopped playing and started to shout at persons unknown for doing something to one of their crew.

We was up the back, just wondered if anyone knew what the score was ?

The manta Ray was not being allowed back over the barriers. No trouble tho

Yeah the band and the manta ray dived into the crowd at the end, and security let the band back on stage but not the manta ray.  They stopped playing and demanded that security let him back on stage.

 

"That's the big finish fucked then!"

"Lets just do the end again anyway"

That was quite funny that bit - purposely missed them during the day to watch them on Hell and I thought they were fun!

It was absolutely marvellous, crowd wouldn't let their mate dressed as a manta ray back on stage

Oh definitely - was great - Slaves are very silly - but that was very enjoyable. Love the way the set ended with a crowdsurfing mantaray, sing/drummer, guitarist and bigfoot...

Wish I'd gone to that set instead of their Jon Peel one, I'd bet it was a lot better. Didn't make it down to Shangri La until the Sunday but having been there I can tell the Hell Stage has the perfect atmosphere for them.

I thought they were fantastic at the John Peel set, the shitty looking mantaray was a particular highlight

never got to see the Hell set though
