RuckSack w*nkers

So there you are, busting some moves to a DJ set in a small little venue somewhere when suddenly you get a bang in the back and you're jolted off balance. you look round to see who's shoved you to find it was actually the unfeasibly large rucksack he/she is carrying. I mean WTF do they actually have in those things

I'll hold my hand up, I took a small-average backback this year in which I would store things like a waterproof jacket, sun cream, meds and alcohol. Most of the time I would put it down on the floor around my feet. No problems caused.

There was one time I was in Heaven however in the very early hours and a big group of people standing in a massive circle were giving me loads of grief for wearing a bag. There was loads of space so I moved aside and yet the group continued to antagonise me, refusing to take a step forward in the massive hoard of space they were taking up. Not enjoyable.

I'd rather stand next to someone wearing a bag than a massive tw*t not wearing one.

I think its the rucksack/lack of spatial awareness combo that's the problem, some people simply forget they're lugging this thing around on their back. Even had one attack me with a fold-up chair sticking out of it in the Rocket Diner

Uh-Oh!, you a moaner? (or moany w*nker?  is that the vernacular?)

second moany thread about crowds from you today ;)

best not to let this sort of thing wind you up - that way madness lies.

You call it moaning, I call it feedback, no feedback, nothing changes and you'll all moan about it, and you clearly haven't bothered to read the positive topics I have posted

at a festival where you can carry your alcohol around with you all day people with backpacks full of the stuff is bound to happen. why constantly go back to the tent, possibly missing acts, for more when you can have it with you all day long?

did see a few people who seemed to go way overboard mind, but it didn't really bother me

There were some crazy big backpacks around. A guy next to me during Kanye had a really wide one, wider than him, was staggering around and generally pissing me, and probably others off. Thankfully he left half way through!

Don't see the need for such a big bag. I just used the free one that came with The Guardian, in which I had a water bottle, couple of cans, emergency poncho and phone charger.
