No, I thought it was OK, Enjoyable even.

But it was not really the sort of set suitable for headlining this festival at its biggest stage. Headlining the Park, it could have been the buzz/triumph of the festival.  But for a punch-the-air/sing-along/bounce-about pyramid headliner, it was too arty!

What is the best or worst replacement act you've had?

 

Haven't had a good one myself but 2 bad ones:

 

Travis instead of Morrissey (Isle of Wight) and Basement Jaxx instead of Kylie

 

You could say it was a Travisstey

V Fest two years ago managed to somehow replace Beady Eye with someone even worse in Steve Angello.

I like Steve Angello, his 'live' dj'ing without headphones leaves me a bit confused though...

He's kind of like a worse Eric Prydz in my eyes

The Darkness instead of Bowie at Oxegen.

 

Darkness were entertaining enough mind you.

Yeah, I was there, my one and only time I had a ticket to see Bowie, I'd enjoyed The Darkness opening on the Pyramid Stage, they were great fun, but at T in the Park as headliners they're not exactly in the same class as Bowie are they!
