Tacopowell
So, I'm pretty keen to make an effort, no cheap tacky fancy dress costumes, feeling charity shop hunts, I've a pretty creative mind but currently lacking inspiration. Post photos of Glastonbury (or other festivals) weird and wonderful getups?! X

math125
Mate why not take a punt and buy a few things there? If there is anywhere you'll find suitable attire it's at the festival.
Tacopowell
surly this kind of thing would be down to personal choice....why would you need to be inspired by someone elses taste? shoptildrop
how about dressing up an a banana? A timeless classic. I remember last year a whole group of people dressed as bananas, they were quite funny as saw one of them later on absolutely pissed as a fart trying to go to the loo but he was slipping all over the place - total banana split!! A guy was trying to help him but failing miserably as he couldn't stop laughing
Kanye's Cock
I love dressing like a dickhead at Glastonbury. not even in a OOOOO LET'S ALL GET PENIS HATS AND BE ZANY type of way (although that does amuse me too), but just wearing whatever you want. just another facet of greatness to this bloody marvellous establishment. chloesaurus
Apologies for Buzzfeed but is this the sort of thing you're looking for? http://www.buzzfeed.com/kimberleydadds/people-who-perfectly-capture-how-crazy-glastonbury-is
Dog Burger
Our group has the theme of 'famous dead people' this year. Nice and broad. Think I've got my idea, but I'm keeping it under my hat
phillyfaddle
What I have noticed over my many years at Glastonbury, is the unusual number of middle aged men dressed as fairies. And not in a knowingly ironic 'I'm just taking the piss, me' kind of way. It makes me feel so happy that there's a place where people feel liberated to be just who they are and no-one (apart from the odd drunk knobhead) makes them feel uncomfortable about that. Glorious.
