2000 Trees Solo Festival Goers Meet-up

Hi Guys,

I'm volunteering at the festival, doing 1 shift of bar work for a free ticket in return. At the moment it looks like I'll be going alone. But thought I could start this topic in case anyone else was also heading there alone and wanted to camp / hang out in the day. Let me know

Ooh some replies I think they said Wednesday, but can't quite remember now. Maybe we can sort out a time/place to meet or something nearer the time Then we could set up camp and others can join as/when they arrive

Hey! I was originally going with a few friends but they have dropped out and Im not going to let it stop me Id love to me some new people trade some stories and maybe camp together. I'm hitch hiking to the festival on the Thursday so not really sure when I'll get there! Would be great to meet you guys though x

Hey dude they run a shuttle bus from cheltenham spa station it's called the go green bus or something it's on the 2000 trees site!

Word of advice guys, arrange a meeting place before you get there. Absolutely no phone signal on any network in Upcote Farm.

I'll be there on Thursday, working 1pm - 8pm, but free after then for the rest of the festival!

Still planning on being there on the Wednesday but I don't when I'll be there. Depends on how I'm getting to the site and all. Still best to meet on the Thursday though as there are only 2 of us going on the Wednesday. , also be getting me shifts on the day. I know what 3 I want to take but still not a guarantee that I'll get them, still got back up plan though

 

If you want the two of us arriving on the Wednesday will get a spot pitched and then the rest of you can join us. Sound good or anyone else got a better idea?

Right, I've sent out a PM to all of the people that are going solo and want to camp together a PM with my phone number. I know there is hardly any signal there but I won't be using the internet at all there and I go down tomorrow due to volunteering. If haven't received a PM either send me one or just post in here that you want me too. 

Even if you just want to meet up anyway regardless if you're going alone or not just let me know anyway as huntyyy showed interest so I sent him a PM too so the lot of us can (try to) meet.

Hello - I am a music journalist going solo to review 2000 trees getting there about 8 tonight (Thursday) - would be grand to find some people to have a beer/watch some bands with! Is there any meet up plan??? Jack
