really hoping its not just coach tickets that go back on sale as I've got an exam thursday afternoon so I wouldn't be able to make any of the times...

In my humble opinion you miss the best part of the festival! though thurs night is quite cool.

What's the latest time people tend to give up for the day?

the last change to the page yesterday was about half 5, not saying its not worth checking after that, just that it seemed seetickets stopped for the day at that time (at least with their glasto work)

I know I'm sad to miss the wednesday and thursday day, but I could be there probably around 6 if I drive, so at least I still have thursday night onwards! Its also my final A2 exam, so the thought of finishing and driving straight off to glastonbury to celebrate is pretty great :D

There was a meet up it was meant to be mass but loads bailed out hopefully better this year

Well I promise this year to buy that cider for you. If I'm not there, pop your head round the corner into Kidney Mead any time and come and drag me kicking & screaming from Timland to the bus! Or we'll just cider, or otherwise, you up there! My avatar will be flying above our campsite, as usual :-)

I was lucky enough to be asked by a promoter looking for a soul / motown dj. I played in the ridge and furrow for the last two years. Hopefully in the theatre and cabaret bar this year. Wed 8-10pm

Still had to buy my ticket though - the promoter was only looking for djs already on site..

That's so awesome.  I'd deffo do that if i was asked, though soul and motown isnt really my area of expertise (though i do enjoy a good listen)

So the artist has to pay to perform?

I didn't ask more questions but we were talking about the pop up hotel and he said it was too expensive as it cost more/less than his fee... Wasn't sure what it meant but thats what I assumed.

    • I guess we'll just have to wait until videos of the shows go up, but the fact that the standing is also greyed out still suggests to me that those sections just sold out out before the others and a blue block just be like 3 tickets left, it's still not concrete proof they never went on sale and if they were never on sale why would they not make it even, if 414 wasn't on sale then you'd think 409 wouldn't be either
    • Selfish, but I've done the 2 days I'm there.. i'll try to do the rest through the day but might get beaten to it as it's editable....    https://clashfinder.com/s/ape2026/
    • I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
    • And all (or all but one) of the secret sets repeats though?
    • 1. Coming with my sister (our 4th Sziget together) 2. 3 days (Thursday-Saturday). Would rather do Tuesday-Thursday but not enough AL 😞 3. Wednesday evening  4. Apartment  5. FATM (will be my 10th Florence’s gig) 6. Parcels/Paris Paloma
