then had clean water and washed hands by side of tent with liquid soap (you can buy fold up basins which might be useful / and for wshing face ..especially in mornings) had travel towel for drying / face cloth.

Fold up basin - what a brilliant idea!

Try putting them in each morning without using a mirror. It's an easy habit to break and good not to need one if you need to replace a lens in a field or dance tent. It took me 3 or 4 days to break my dependence on a mirror.

I had the same problem so last year prior to glasto I got continuous wear lenses. You put them in, sleep in them and take them out 28 days later. I haven't worn glasses since. Much more comfortable than dailies in my opinion, and no hassle.

I had a great couple of months in those.  Then I had an allergic reaction to a cat and haven't been able to use them since.  That was 15 years ago, still don't get on with them!

Dailies all the way, even if you normally wear monthlies I'd get a pack of dailies for such occasions.  Hand santiser and wet wipes.  Might sting for a bit but keep blinking and you'll be fine.

And I'm with Waapster on the mirror thing.  You only need a mirror because you think you need a mirror.  You know where your eyes are!

Daily disposables for me too.

Take a small bar towel and some liquid anti-septic soap in a little plastic bottle, which you can get at chemists. Wash hands with that, swill with water and dry hands then can get lenses in without too much concern of getting dust in the lense. Also take a little make up mirror on site with me and spare set of glasses incase I need to fish them out from my eye during the day

    • Same’s happened at MSG recently with Rush and Phish alternating nights. I guess each band has its own unique production so their riggers will be kept busy
    • The rumour was uk arena tour late this year.  Same as Charli xcx cant be announced until Reading headline is done.
    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
