Point in an early ticket?

Going on thursday would mean missing an extra day of sixth form and also spending a lot of extra money of shit but my mate is absolutely obsessed with going on the Thursday to set up early but as I said I don't really see the appeal when we can just go early on the Friday and set up then

I've always gone on Thursday, it is a lot of fun in the campsite just chilling and getting to know the folk camped around you. However you're probably right, your grades are more important.

the thursday night is always a great laugh and has been one of my favorite nights the last few years. you don't have to worry about going to see anyone, just drinking and having a laugh at the campsite with your mates and a great warmup for the festival. the slam tent and a few other small stages/tents are also open

As everyone else has said, the thursday is fantastic.

Last year me and my mates went down on the thursday, pitched up and got chatting with the guys camped around us, ended up spending the whole weekend with them and honestly the Thursday was probably the best night of them all.

I'm going to come in with a Negative angle here, went on the Thursday once, the first year it was available I believe, never again, they only open the undesirable bits of the campsite near the entrances, it's far too crammed in they campsites, if you like camping with room to breath, I wouldn't advise

On my first T I went Thursday night, really gave me the gist of what it was all about and my bearings as to where everything was. Witnessed some of the funniest things I had seen in my life that night too!

Assuming that you are in first year of sixth form, those 2 months they add at the end of AS levels to "prepare for A2" are bullshit. You learn it all again in year 13. Go on Thursday, it won't matter.

I always have such a great time on the thursday! Generally just chill on the thursday and get familiar with surroundings and drink. Always end up drinking far too much though and pay for it on the friday. Still... doesn't stop me doing it again every year.

Go on the the thursday, you wont regret it!
