Hey, anyone going to Boardmasters this year from the Falmouth/Truro area in Cornwall? I'm going but trying to get a group of people together to go with as I don't really fancy going alone, reply to this and we'll sort something out, cheers! :P

It is a great event in a stunning location. Particularly good for me as I surf :)

A very young crowd compared to many events but, hey, I'm down with da kids :)

Always some surprising acts considering the demographic....last year The Dead Kennedys were outstanding and was wonderful to see the youngsters watching going 'What That Actual Fuck?'

Worth a visit.

I'm seriously considering going Emma, so you may have me as a tag along!

Im a Bristolian going to Boardmasters... My mates have just dropped out but I'm still going - will go on my own but it would be more fun to make some friends to go with / meet there. Anyone else in a similar position? -Emma

Been to about six Boardmasters now and this year's was certainly the best yet. Yes, it is rather corporate and has a young crowd but there was a particularly happy, relaxed and vibrant feel to it that I felt was lacking a few years ago.

Nice weekend.

We only went in for the Friday as my Stepson was working there as a Photographer. Only saw Reef and Faithless all day. Rest of it we chilled by the Corona stage. Great tunes all day in the Sun. My only gripe about the festival is the price of drinks. Don't mind paying £4.80 a pint for rattler but £5.00 for a small glass of wine was rubbish! Edited by Earthwindandfire2205
