I'm blunt and so is my wife.

Is this a Sparticus type thing where we all say ' I'm Blunt' etc etc ? I feel uneasy on this.

As an aside, I used to go out with a woman whose brother was a bit of a rogue (c**t). He was in the pub one day when uniformed police came in and asked for somebody by name. Somebody said 'I'm (insert name here)'. Then someone else said the same thing, then another and another etc. The police went away empty handed.

As a further aside, I was driving past said pub one day with my dad when he exclaimed that was the pub where you could buy anything from an E to an Exocet. I'd kind of gathered that myself, but wondered how he knew because he doesn't frequent pubs.

Sounds like a good but, but a bit alphabetically limited. A better range would be an aardvark to zither.

How much for an Aardvark Yogurt? I'll give you a fiver

An aardvark for a fiver? I don't think you've been looking in to the aardvark market of late. There's been a massive run on them and prices are sky high, even on the black market. I'll tell you what I can do for you guvnor for a fiver - I can get you a non pedigree dog with a road cone lashed to it's head in the style of a snout. You'd have to train it to eat ants yourself though.

Could stick a vacuum cleaner in the cone, to simulate Ant eatting?

Is this a mains aardvark or does it come with a USB lead?

Now I'm thinking about it - Im not that sure Im not mixing an aardvark with something else?

You want to stick a mains lead in to one of these?

Hasn't it got enough to contend with just looking like that, without sending 240 volts through it's body? Mind you, the front of that snout does look like it will take a USB lead.

Most discussion board threads are just infinite pages of people repeating the same thing, but with increasingly longer posts. Here, real progress has been made, I couldn't have hoped for a better outcome.

You are James Blunt and I claim my £5

Aww, rumbled, good sleuthing, mate. Come back stage next time I play a show in your area, I'll reimburse you for the ticket as well. Just tell security I'm expecting you, be very firm.

    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
