They've always preferred smaller venues so it's more intimate. Dunno how crazy folk are on here about ES but I can't get enough of them. The interview in Kerrang mag today said for the new tour they're planning on making the lighting show somewhat 3D using tubing and stuff, sounds pretty cool.

Planning to do all 9 of the dates myself, yes I'm insane.

Also reading through their tweets they've said this is the only UK tour which is usually rubbish. They love to "tease" us. In 2013 they said they're 100% not doing any UK shows AT ALL in 2014 and they still played R&L and a home town show.

They'll probably play R&L again but that's not really surprising anyone any more hah.

Depends who you talk to. But I'm sure come January 19th, Will-2609 will be fully converted having been blown away by the apparently Stravinsky and neuroscience inspired album.

They could get around it by this tour being the only string of dates in support of the album with the rest of the shows being under a generic "Enter Shikari: 2015"-esque banner and having mixed up setlists

Or, more likely, when they want to play again they'll just say "yeah we were chattin' shit" and go on and do another tour

I like Shikari a lot but I'm not planning on doing the 9 dates :P (There is not a lot of interest from my friends to do the one anyway  )

They could do what The Prodigy did, but the opposite way around of their tour where the Prodg played massive gigs for the masses, then a few months later smaller gigs for the "proper" (not sure how to say that) fans (+their amazing Milton Keynes Bowl gig) a short while after.

ES have sold out Hammersmith after all.

    • This basically!, it's about as clear as day they'll be there.
    • Yeah there is no down time, I'm still tired and over thinking from last weeks work. A big reality check this week. If you just do it for the money you always will.

    • Robbie Williams would fit with the current state of the legend’s slot, and he’d bring the house down.
