Well...

I am not sure how much I should, or should not, divulge about that!

The short answer is yes, I think I am.

I have had a really rather lovely offer to join some people that, if they can still bear the thought of it by the time we reach June, I will be taking up!

I have been to festivals on my own before and had a good time, but for me it really is all about a shared experience, with the sort of wonderful people that I get to spend time with only at festivals, and not in my normal world.

I so want my first Glastonbury to be a shared experience, partly because I know that I can make it fun for other people too!!

So, I think I am pretty sorted and hope to be in Dairy with some very new, lovely friends...

:)

Ben

Cool beans :) yes, don't go into too much detail here!

I went to my first glastonbury (2008) with my sister and 2 friends, we camped just us and it was fun. The following year it was just me and my sister, we camped with a load of people we met on a FB group for the festival. We are now all firm friends and try to meet up in the year if we can. And we still camp together! We're from all over the country hence the meeting just away from site to convoy into the car parks. It's great. So yes, it works brilliantly :)

That's great Ben!

Was camped in Dairy last year and it's a good spot. Will probably be trying for there again this year so maybe see you there!

Ben finishes setting up camp and has a swig of scrumpy

A couple of years ago, my sister made up some vodka and juice/lemonade for us to drink in the queue, calling it "Queue Juice". Well, it was rather strong and by the time we got to camp we were quite twatted!! Our tent was a it haphazard for a while!!
