Have you checked the water?  After a hose went on mine they reckoned they'd refilled everything, but I needed to top it up again a day or so later.

YEs I have, I filled it this morning and it still got hot on the way to work. Going to ring my mechanic after work to make sure its ok! He said to check the water for a couple of days.
